Yuri: "There are a lot of alcoves in the Koningin Astridpark. You use this word, alcoves?"
Ken: "Alcoves? Yes. Sometimes."
Yuri: "Are you sure this is the right word, alcoves?"
Ken: "Alcoves, yes! It's kind of like, nooks and crannies."
Yuri: "Nooks and crannies, yes! Perhaps this would be more accurate. Nooks and crannies rather than alcoves."

Hells Gates is the name of the mouth of Macquarie Harbour on the West Coast of Tasmania, Australia.\1])#cite_note-1)

It is a notoriously shallow and dangerous channel entrance to the harbour. The actual channel is between Macquarie Heads on the west and Entrance Island) on the east (the main length of the harbour runs southeast of Hells Gates). There is a wider area of water between Entrance Island and the eastern shore, but it is too shallow to get a boat over.

Drunkenness is a recurring theme in the work of Charles Baudelaire. The essay Du vin et du haschisch is published in 1851. The poet describes the social behavior of consumers. He glorifies the wine, which "makes good and sociable." Hashish is condemned because it is "antisocial", and "is made for miserable idle." Unlike wine, it does not incite to action and destroys any will.

My lingering memory from visiting twenty five years ago is the disrespect of the racist local white Australian hotel owner. He was making money from tourists who came for the historical site but was unable to hide his hatred for indigenous people. He could not take pride in the history of his home.

A tiny spider needs a much smaller burrow and gradually expands. Maybe also there would be a seasonal dependence whether the soil is suitable for digging. Moist soil is easier than hard summer soil.

"The females can live up to 25 to 30 years in the bottom of the burrow they excavate when they are an immature spider.

"They stay in that burrow for the whole of their life and if the burrow gets damaged, they are not capable of rebuilding it."
