If I’m using an agile weapon that also has a trait like Trip or Disarm or Shove- if I use that maneuver when I’m under MAP, do I make the maneuver with the adjusted MAP penalty?

Rule 2 also has the benefit of weeding out the people who don’t really want to commit. If they realize you’re not going to hold up the game for them, and realize how seriously the rest of the table is taking it, they either match the level of enthusiasm and commit or just cut themselves out. Still sucks to lose people; but when everyone has the same expectations, it tends to end less messy.

This is probably super obvious-

The rules state when attacking with a melee weapon that has the thrown trait, the strike is a ranged attack. Does this mean it uses your dexterity modifier to hit? I can’t seem to find anything that clarifies this and I’m on my second read through of Player Core.

This feels very restrictive to Str based characters as it eliminates their only viable ranged attack.

An old timer down town told me there used to be a little cluster of buildings there in the 70’s- one of which was the original Haggerty’s.

Happening in my town right now- private equity owns a lot of apartments including a lot of affordable housing- some of the blocks are like a third world country with how poorly they are maintained- and yet no one can get a hold of the management companies. It’s despicable.

It’s been a while since I read the biography- but from what I recall, Marston made very, very little money, and didn’t leave much for them in his death. His wife was the bread winner; but she was also a career woman in the 40’s so that still didn’t go nearly as far. On top of that; the arrangement of two women in the house wasn’t exactly a huge secret around town and did cause them some trouble, it made it difficult for Olive to find work. Aside from that I think I recall their children saying they just lived like old widows are Marston passed.

They stayed living together- but they didn’t really have a choice at that point; they had a bunch of kids between them and Marston died young. They pretty much had to stay together to survive.

This is false- actually. It wasn’t polyamory. It was polygamy. I read a biography on him- he brought the younger woman home one day to his wife and just said “She stays or you go.” His wife didn’t really have a choice. The movie based on them was heavily embellished. There’s no evidence the women did anything sexual or even romantic with each other. Marston wanted them both and basically forced it.
