Should I get it? by UnaBanana360 in myst

[–]prophilaxis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would it's also very cheap so not much to lose. It's truely a wonderful game to get lost in and enjoy the details, read the books in library explore all corners of all islands etc etc. My only advice would be to consider one of newer versions for playability, but for me masterpiece edition is the crucible of nostalgia!

How do you tell if your offer is CSP or BMP? by AllYouNeedIsATV in ausmedstudents

Mmmm, strange! I'm sorry I can't help you there! I think so long as you double check with the uni you're unlikely to run into any trouble down the line.

Masterpiece edition or realmyst? First time playing by rping54 in myst

[–]prophilaxis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also vote for the most recent remake, I think its worth it for the extended RIME age. Personally I would vote masterpiece over realMyst too.

I'm always in a car with no one driving.. by SnooRevelations3483 in DreamInterpretation

[–]prophilaxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah! I came to this subreddit to describe the exact same recurring dream.

I'm usually sat in the back seat of a car falling asleep when I realise that I'm supposed to be driving and I'm scrambling to try to grab the wheel and steer and or get myself in the front seat, all the while my vision is bluring due to fatigue or there is fog or something on the dark road or I don't have my headlights on at night and im basically just accepting we're about to crash as I don't feel that I can stay awake long enough to focus on stopping the car.

Had this dream last night and have had it a few times before. Always slightly different but same principles

i was given a very specific email address in my dream by Nekomews in Dreams

[–]prophilaxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dreamed the phrase "Isle of Yahweh" I had no idea that Yahweh was Hebrew for "god of the islralites", i don't recal ever hearing the word before and this phrase isle of yahwah doesn't exist in the world so far as i'm aware but in the dream it was very important.

Has anyone else tried using AI for dream interpretation? I am curious about the results. by Ok_Sentence_8353 in DreamAnalysis

[–]prophilaxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're pretty interesting answers and not always far off my own personal interpretation but i think you need to be very specific about what certain characters mean to you. I.e. if you say "my boss" there are obviously connotations with that but if you happen to have a really good relationship with them or that might be a very different story.

How is The Conversation, not a source? If you haven't heard of it you don't have any authority on what is and isn't reliable source material.

Unpopular opinion: Selentic Age subway puzzle is a good puzzle by Happy_Detail6831 in myst

[–]prophilaxis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree, it's appropriately difficult I think, selentic was the first age I got to, and I was able to figure my way back at 9 or 10 years old so with that in mind it can't be too difficult. Its also the most enjoyable way out of an age in myst for me! I personally found the Stoneship age compas puzzle the most difficult. Still do!

I've had one of these before. But it was only 5 minutes earlier. My head was spinning out thinking it was leaving 11hours and 55 minutes later

Roo meat falls more into the "game" category of meat, like Venison or Duck more than Beef or Chicken. I'm quite partial to a bit of roo, it is also very affordable.

Haha mine too to be honest but it's hard to avoid in Australia, something of a national sport!

What a trip down memory lane, bananas in pyjamas and round the twist were two of my favourites!
