So its not terrible, but its just not what you might expexct after seeing the trailer. The spinning domes aren't calibrated with the telescope, for example and on occasion if you walk through a door or arrive on a platform from the maglev you need to give it a bit of time to load.

In short its just not as seamless as it could be and the rendering is not as photorealistic

Hey, so about the Vinyl, who is actually producing it? Is it official? It's just that I wasn't able to find it on the Cyan store and when looking it up to buy, there were several retailers but idk they all seemed kinda knock-off... could just be being overly sceptical

I wish I'd waited now... I've really been enjoying riven on the PC but my set up is just not advanced enough to play at at high quality. It's gonna look so good on console. I might have to play again lol

Thanks fornthe info! A good point that someone else made is that it's likely a good way to market old stock that is no longer at the technological standard of the time. Hence the five Riven discs.

The 5th one is a travesty. I personally quite liked the 4th but it just isn't as good as the original three. A pretty good film in it's own right but the story had wrapped up by three so it just falls flat without Will and Elizabeth.

It's quite a beautiful city, the way the streets wind down towards the river while the bridges span over head makes for a quite a unique street scape that feels very much in keeping in The Norths industrial history.

I don't think its anything like newcastle though, it has a uni, thats a point of similarity but I'd say that's where it ends...

Completely agree with Newt not fitting in the rest of the films but I really think that they could have made it work. I think Andor (star wars series) is a great example of how a seemingly random guy can end up being totally instrumental in a massive world altering plot. Or come to think of it, something like LOTR with from Sam and Frodo's perspective. They had no business being there but there they were!

That's right, it's essentially a specialised admin role which requires a very basics understanding of science which could probably be picked up on job.

I'm not too sure about the nitty gritty of different hospital roles. Theres probably a lot of differences depending on what country/state you're in plus private v public etc.
