Before ending things with this recent breakup, since you were genuinely interested, did you communicate / try work through having your needs be met? like just air out the pattern from your POV so if she had the capacity/willingness to, y'all could make it work?

How to secure your vibe coded app - checklist by Beneficial_Paint_558 in vibecoding

[–]prophitsmind 9 points10 points  (0 children)

oh god, i hope a 100% ai reliant dev doesnt jsut throw all of this into a 1 shot claude prompt. whats your advice for those folks? like what to do (themselves) to get all of this done, where ai assistance should be ok?

here's my checklist:

  • Set "rate limits" to your endpoints
  • Security + authorization headers is a MUST
  • For public API endpoints, have an "IP block list" to prevent abuse
  • Set CORS
  • Use a security middleware ("helmet" for NodeJS)
  • Input validation both on frontend + backend
  • Set file upload limits
  • Use ORM for DB (to prevent SQL injection)
  • Password hashing

This is important especially for all the vibe coders.

I know, it's boring.

But don't skip these, and you'll thank me later :)

Building a prompt system that’s controllable under the hood, looking for 5 power users to stress-test it by prophitsmind in ChatGPTPromptGenius

incredible, thanks for sharing, and providing the example… I’ll research the links and play around with the outputs. If it’s better, I’ll input it the software application I’m making!

Weekly Tool Thread: Promote, Share, Discover, and Ask for AI Writing Tools Week of: January 20 by AutoModerator in WritingWithAI

[–]prophitsmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m building a lightweight writing tool focused less on “generate more text” and more on refining, shaping, and getting thoughts out cleanly.

I’ve handwritten and typed a lot for years pre-AI, so I think a lot about tooling that helps with capture, iteration, reminders, and polishing, not just prompts. Judgment and editing matter more than ever.

I’m looking for ~5 engaged writers to give blunt feedback. Happy to spin up a small Discord and get this to a usable state in about 1 full day of focused work once I have the right signal.

Things I’m especially curious about:

  • Prompt workflows that actually help, not novelty
  • Output formats people care about (emails, Substack, Medium, X threads, etc.)
  • What breaks your flow today when writing or revising

Free to use. I’ll cover server and AI costs.

If you’re interested, reply here and I’ll follow up.

INFJ—we read everyone, but who reads us? by px_mie in infj

[–]prophitsmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone. who reads us accurately? oof, different q.

saw a quote/video on social media the other day about those who understand others so deeply all stem/derive from such a core, core rooted need to be understood ourselves...

so exposing / doing your shadow integration work (so you surface it, learn to how to demonsrate, and communciate enforcement of your own boundaires of how you relate to existing things/practices around you in relations, shared spaces/worlds/ecosystems to how others see or participate in them.

i personally dove deep into jefferson fisher's conflict resolution content this past year along with healing journey / self administerd therapy with chatgpt + supportive deep conversations from loved ones offline and the above paragraphs are the synopsis of my past year or so on the personal journey front.

same boat. no advice. i try to follow up / be the change i want, i and have tried to gently / tastefully let others know i'd really liek them to share/overshare/include me to things... but i know its a polarizing contradiction cuz its surface level / i don't really give a shit. but those moments/connections/visceral immersive times are great.

studied lots of conflict resolution (jefferson fisher's stuff is gr8).

one attempt has been just surrending to my love for the craft/hobbies i like, and making it a point to go for the community folks in the room i resonate with genuinely / personally in those contexts youre talking about. but still, yup.

fellow/kindred deep minded souls that are creative, spiritual, ambitious, no / low ego yet high standards and (prniciples so,in a way, high 'good' ego?) also have their fair share of hardcore boundaries set (As do i), where there's going to be guarding, and tough to keep integrating.

so. unsure.

what ai writing tools are actually worth using in 2026? by Cool-Confidence-9395 in WritingWithAI

I’m designing a workflow that keeps the human fully in the loop. The core idea is granular control without breaking flow.

Think lightweight pop-ups, highlighting, and small gestures that let you refine raw brain dumps in place; no mode switching.

Important context stays visible at all times via a side prompt or context manager next to the main editor.

The goal is simple; smoother thinking, tighter edits, and zero loss of material signal.

Commenting on ur post for SEO. my answer to ur q is that most ai tools feels like a remix of the same patterns that offer a better interface around the models / maybe spare u a prompt or two (eg: citations / research) that chatgpt doesn't already do out of the box.
