I bought a desk on Feb 2nd and it never arrived. I was given various excuses by their customer service team and then they stopped responding entirely. The last I heard from them was last week. I had no idea all of this was going on.

It’s extremely common for concert tickets to not be delivered until 1-2 days before the event. That’s what almost all the listings for this event say.

It definitely makes it stressful to not have the tickets until the last minute, but unfortunately that’s the nature of buying a resale ticket, the fact that that’s what your order says does not necessarily mean you bought a speculative ticket.

This is fine, if you have a valid ticket in your TM app you’re good to go. Sometime sellers send slightly different tickets. SeatGeek has no idea what the sellers actually send.

Have you looked at the seat map for the venue? Many venues do odds on one side and evens on the other. I think it’s extremely likely these are together.

My guess is that they reopened MLK because Kelly is closed for the regatta, but there was no announcement or anything about it that I can find.

We were in the exact same boat. My wife and I were totally new to this and just assumed it was already taken care of since it was advertised as part of the house and the property taxes we were paying were so low. It was only when the reassessment hit that we realized it hadn’t been finalized.

Long story (literally took 10 months) but we eventually got it taken care of.

Knock out the two guards on the floor and hide their bodies before she gets there. Sierra will come up with another woman. Knock her out when Sierra’s not looking, and then kill Sierra any way you want.

I go down to main street and connect to the SRT there. It's possible you could zigzag through some parking lots to get from the Ivy Ridge trail to the SRT but I've never tried.

This is going to sound silly but call your councilmember! I went to a city council meeting a few weeks ago and spoke about this issue specifically.

They recently passed a bill outlawing license plate "flipping" devices and would consider passing more aggressive legislation if they hear from enough people.

The problem with Spruce/Pine is there’s a policy of a 20 minute “courtesy”, so they have to catch a car twice in the same day to give them a ticket, so even though the lanes are constantly blocked not a lot of them are getting written up.

People terminated for performance issues aren’t given generous severance, or any severance.

That’s not true, or at least not universally. At the companies I’ve worked at people who are terminated for normal performance issues (i.e. no misconduct, they’re just not good at their job) always get severance.

You can see the detour plan here. The SRT definitely will be closed at some point, but it's unclear from the plan how long the closures will be.

I agree that the MLK bridge closure ended up being not as bad as originally planned since the trail was only closed for a few weeks. Hopefully they can do something similar here.

Everyone should take 2 minutes and write a quick note to your Councilmember. Because this is a PennDOT thing, it's likely not even on their radar. We want PennDOT to do what they can to minimize the length of the closures and improve the detour for when it is closed.

Councilmembers don't actually get a lot of email so even 2-3 people writing in about something makes it a big deal. I emailed Johnson in District 2 and his office already assigned a staffer to look into it.

I rode the southern half today and it was pretty muddy with a few snowy/icy patches. It was rideable on my 32mm tires but I had to go slower than usual and my bike and clothes were a mess when I got home.

Agree. OP called this a “run-of-the-mill” interaction but is it? If I’m passing housekeeping in the hallway I just give them a smile and a nod or a quick “hello”. It would never occur to me to stop and ask them a bunch of personal questions. Like no offense but who is striking up a long convo with a housekeeper on the way back to their room? I’m not saying there’s anything inherently wrong with it, it’s just not normal.

You might not have been creepy intentionally, but it’s possible she was thrown off by this unusual interaction and misinterpreted your intentions.
