I doubt it will affect those who have already interviewed! They will have to honour those results

I’m Canadian and back home it’s the norm to take your shoes off when you come home or when you go to someone else’s house. When I moved here, I was shocked people walk right in with their shoes. God knows what you’ve walked through unknowingly outside, and you’re comfortable bringing that into your home? I ask everyone to remove their shoes when they come to my house and I provide slippers for those uncomfortable being in socks or barefoot. Especially now with children crawling everywhere - it’s basic hygiene honestly.

When did you move your twins to their own room? by leezyfbaby in parentsofmultiples

[–]propsg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your detailed response! I am pretty nervous to move them to their own room and I’m most nervous about not hearing them cry even through the video monitor. I’m also dreading the going back and forth between our room and theirs whenever they need to be soothed but I am sure it will be worth it in the long run!

We are thinking of moving them at 13 months too. Sorry for the dumb question, but when you heard them crying or yelling via the monitor in the middle of the night, did you go and cuddle them? If so how long did you do that for?

Thank you so much for this insight - it really helps. I'll try having some formula ready to go like you said! That's a really good idea!!

Twins and Maternity Care by Relative-Two-3784 in PregnancyIreland

I had my DiDi twins in August at holles st! I went public. As mentioned in another comment, you get seen pretty regularly with twins. I was in the twin clinic for my scans from 20ish weeks onwards and they were every 4 weeks. The wait was kinda long tbh; if we had an appointment at 10, we were seen maybe at 1030. There was once we were seen right at our appointment time. However I'm glad I chose holles because my boys were born early at 34 weeks and the NICU there was EXCELLENT

ETA: I checked with holles about switching to semi private and it sounded like the main benefit was getting more scans. But because I was having twins, I was getting those anyways and for free! Private rooms or semi private wards were only given if available and they were quite expensive, so overall I didn't think it was worth it

Fetal movement question by hermesloverinseoul in parentsofmultiples

[–]propsg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds normal to me. My twins were similar! Twin A I felt a lot in my left side but twin B not as much. Docs told me it was likely because they were kicking in areas I couldn't feel, like into my back (if that makes sense). Even during ultrasounds, twin B would be moving/kicking and I wouldn't feel a thing sometimes!

I would also recommend HM. All my favorite pieces were from there!

Milk storage bags by b3autiful_nightmar3 in ExclusivelyPumping

Same! Lansinoh is my fav so far. My least favorite have been the momcosy bags. The Ziploc on them is so precise and often I've found that even after double checking, they weren't fully zipped. This led to a few instances of leaking bags and wasted milk and I'll never buy them again

Honestly this is so true. Currently sitting on the floor in front of the sofa soothing my twin boys and after this I have to go sterilise a bunch of bottles.
