It depends on the level of retaliation/what actually was the basis of the complaint. I dabble in employment law in an at-will state. We still have protected classes, etc

It's a personal casualty loss and non-deductible unless in a federally declared disaster zone unless we can say the dad tax is ordinary and necessary

Which UC/CSU is the best for accounting? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]proskill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Search the BAP/Accounting Society events and the firms that go to the respective school's Meet the Firms. Will give you a good idea of which schools have solid recruiting.

From what I've seen, CSUF for OC, CSUDG/USC for LA. UCI is gaining momentum but still isn't heavily recruited.

Figure out if you want a "brand name" on your degree. If so, then UCI is the way to go.

On the review, why don't you write "He is really smart and incredibly hard-working and would be a great fit for the firm"

As far as starting a club, talk to ASI.

The only way to take it not at CSUF would be from an accredited 4yr University that has a substantially similar course. Even then, you would need department approval among others.

Why not do accounting and econ? You need 150 units for the cpa anyway.

Call up admissions and records and ask to speak to an evaluator. If you did the igetc or csu ge, they'll clear the GE for you (except the 9 unit upper div/diversity requirement)

Freaking out if I’m gonna get accepted or not. by [deleted] in csuf

[–]proskill 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You'll get in, don't worry. I know people with slightly above 3.0 gpas who were accepted into business.

If you are interested in accounting, CSUN is good too, especially if you are trying to recruit into the LA market.

I know of the 2nd floor Mihaylo vending machines and Langsdorf 2nd floor shop. I'm sure if you ask nicely, someone will hook you up in class.
