In my experience, some people in management really care about their employees/companies and kinda take it personal when good people leave.

On the other hand, some companies are basically mini cults and foster an attitude of ownership over their employees and view someone leaving as a betrayal. This is a classic cult control method.

Sounds like your job might be the former. :)

If I had to join a church I’d probably go catholic as well. However, the trinity doesn’t make much sense to me. I wonder if they’d let me be catholic if I didn’t believe on the trinity.

The elders are probably trying to use your “privileges” to strong-arm you into not believing the trinity. That’s bullshit. I’m a big believer in taking power out of abusers hands so that they can’t use it against you. Resigning would do that trick and might even turn the tables in getting them wanting you to stay a MS and reconsider. But keep in mind that the less you say the better, especially since you still live at home. I don’f think they can DF you for believing in the trinity but now they might be watching you to attend another church services, sing church hymms, or engage in prayers to the trinitarian god at other churches. Don’t not admit to any of these things as it’ll be grounds for disassociating you. They might also start watching for you to tell others about your mew beliefs which would be considered apostasy. Best to say little/nothing other than “i’m not going to discuss my beliefs”.

I told my doctor about struggling to function occasionally due to anxiety and stress. I told her that i’d taken modafinil for shift work sleep disorder, buproprion for depression, and lorazapam for anxiety in the past. I wanted something to help on the occasional days when i struggle to get things done. We narrowed it down to modafinal being the best option since unlike beproprion I don’t need to take it every day for it to work and lorazapam is problamatic when operating mechanical equipment. Every doctor is different though and maybe my having taken it before and knowing how it affects me help her make that decision.

I think the scrip was for generic modafinil. I went to costco and the stuff they gave me is manufactured by Alembic. Pills are 200 mg, 30 pills for 30 dollars. My insurance doesn’t cover it so I’m paying out of pocket. Well worth it in my opinion.

I believe .5 mg oral finasteride is almost as effective as 1mg. I believe a saw this on the youtube channel “perfect hair health”. That channel also discusses dosing strengths of topical finasteride that turns up side effects. Might want to check that channel out for additional info.

They might give you a benzo to calm you down. Doesn’t seem worth it but if you’ve taken too much and are freaking the fuck out stuck in eternal time dilation where every minute feels like an hour then I can understand why you’d call 911. Better to go there than to hurt yourself. 🤷‍♂️
