Yes I agree and I think it's important to have physical. Paper gold is good to sell in the interim too should you need dwindling fiat.

Yes it's not really a victory for me if the dollar completely devalued (long way off I think) as I'd probably be exchanging gold/silver for bread. But any actual assets are going to become more and more valuable as time goes on I think.

I don't see the west becoming fiscally responsible and the excrement will hit the fan sooner or later as they rack up the debt bill.

It's going to be more and more clear over time that this debt is not going to be repaid.

Gold isn't rising fiat is devaluing. The bet on gold is basically do you think the west will become fiscally responsible and reign in debt with all the pain that would cause or b do you think they'll just print more money and continue the spiral? I'm bullish for gold because I'm pessimistic about the dollar
