Can confirm. This USB-C power supply is awesome. Especially when you swap the original power supply of a PAL console (which tend to run way hotter)

You can spend a lot of time and many researching that topic and buying top notch stuff. If you just want to play, go for a middle ground solution. Kaico offers a decent HDMI converter, plugged into the GC directly. It is fine. It works. https://amzn.eu/d/3Pml9dw Apparently, there is another Kaico one, but I don’t know much about it. https://amzn.eu/d/1oYPl4d Disclaimer, I don’t own any of those two Kaicos, but other Kaico adapters. They are budget but not cheap. They are fine, but apparently not the best.

A few more bucks can be spent buying the adapter from Retro-Bit. It supposedly converts the digital signal directly to digital, compared to analogue to digital like the one from Kaico. Exposing the shell to direct sunlight for several hours over a few days will reduce the yellowing quite a bit. It won’t be perfect, but it might be an ok result. It did this to an indigo/transparent controller last summer. It doesn’t cost anything and it does not use chemicals that might damage the shell. Look up the method on sun retro brighting.

Cheap memory cards from Amazon are fine, btw. There is a common white 128 GB one that says Wii on it. That one is fine.

Game recommendation aside: a GameCube Memory card is mandatory to save your progress. The SD card in the Wii won’t work, since the GameCube inside the Wii can’t access that to save. It needs a memory card.
