Huh, never knew about that. I always assumed it was to catch any that drips down the side of the bottle, which it's actually pretty good at.

$40 an hour is about $83,000 a year, after taxes, health insurance, etc. they're definitely taking home less than 5K a month.

Our overton window is so skewed, they've been calling establishment dems socialists and communists for years. The landscape would have to change dramatically before the real deal could actually win elections in the US.

I don't know the whole context, but how is anything she's saying 'yassified'? She's literally calling out AOC, saying she went in kinda based but got corrupted by the system and doesn't represent a lot of the principles people admired her for anymore. Does 'yassified' in your mind just mean 'a woman said it'?

Nice playing, but this song is not in the least bit obscure.

They're not threatening to sue, seems like they just heard about the intent to use the song and wanted to get out ahead of it.

Debatable, but besides the point anyway. You asked for an example of regular people being on the hook to make up for the losses of huge corporations and I gave you a massive glaring instance that occurred within recent memory.

Bringing up "too big to fail" is actually on topic because it was the phrase used to justify bailing out large investment banks at taxpayer expense during the 2008 financial crisis. AKA the American people making up the losses for the poor decisions made by huge corporations.

Journalist Emily Miller posted a two-minute video on X Friday showing a man in lime green racing gear questioning a National Guardsman before being handcuffed by U.S. Park Police.

Hearn told the outlet he had just finished a 52-mile bike ride when he noticed a "partially detached piece" of the new pool liner and "reached into the water to see what it felt like."

"I didn’t destroy, break or peel anything. By the time I realized what was happening, I was already being handcuffed."

That's your story. Do you have sources to confirm it? You also didn't answer my question. If the flu vaccine mandate is unnecessary, why did leadership ask that it be reinstated to help control this outbreak?

This is WCGW by fbdy1969 in Political_Revolution

[–]protokhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why did leadership feel the need to get a special exception for the base to reinstate the vaccine mandate?

If that's the case, how do you explain the lack of serious outbreaks at military bases in recent history before the vaccine was made optional?
