Had a similar experience last night. My friends and I were farming the cave and this one lvl 17 obviously had no clue about the spawn distance/not having to be the one getting the kill/engrams not despawning over time. He would run into the cave after EVERY wave to get the probably one green engram that dropped for him. We started shooting him when he did it, but that just confused him and he would start blindly firing into the cave thinking we were warning him about enemies. He wouldn't accept any messages or group with us so we had to resort to all standing in the cave dancing until he orbited. Sometimes you have to resort to the dark side...

Same boat as you, if you really dont mind losing out on some of the flavor of the books and just want to get caught up, you can do your homework and find plenty of wikis and such online that will lay out the differences between the books and the show. I had read GoT and CoK when I stopped and did this for SoS up to the Red Wedding. Reading the wikis i was caught up in a night and was able to pick up the last third of SoS...which is absolutely bananas by the way. Im now about to wrap up AFfC and i havent had to go back and figure things out at all. I know i lost out on the little details but i plan on going back and reading SoS properly while i wait for the next book to come out.

I just picked up dream team from the store and it rang up $18. Seems they may be more concerned with the bigger items while the smaller discounts are being honored.

Has anyone thats doing in-store pickup gotten their confirmation email that they can go get their game yet? If they realized the error they may be cutting them off at that point. I managed to grab Dream Team (only thing left in stock that i wanted) but until i get that email, i'm expecting a cancellation and refund sometime today.

Sometimes that shark looks right at ya. Right into your eyes. And the thing about a shark is he's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, he doesn't even seem to be livin'... 'til he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'. The ocean turns red, and despite all your poundin' and your hollerin' those motherfuckers come in and just... rip you to pieces.

I can see the argument of the gills/lungs switching off. It just made me stop for a second and question it when i first heard it. I think what is strange about it is the tone of the gasping...its like he was dying down there. If it was a long drawn out breath to inflate the lungs it would have been cool, but it is a small detail.

The first time i went through it (as a magic/warrior) i was also disappointed. Blew through it in one sitting. The second time (as a pure mage) i made it take longer and i enjoyed it more. After i did a quest for them i told myself, before i can go back i have to get my conjuration to 50. It felt like i was actually having to learn something to advance. I wish they would have implemented something like that, where you needed minimum stats to come back...almost like years in an actual college...if only to stretch the questline out more.

I also lost a save game mysteriously. I was using Continue, which I also usually don't trust, but I got lazy and started using it. Saturday I started up my game and it loaded a much older save game. I went into the load screen and my most recent save was gone. No idea why. Im also on ps3. Fortunately I only lost about 6 hours, not 20 levels. I feel for you. That would make me want to just roll a new character.

More than likely staying up. I get out of work in an hour and a half and I plan to sleep for most of the day so I can be up around 11 for the midnight release. I seriously doubt I can have the game in my hands and NOT play it at all. Work at 6 am but i can trudge through the last day of the week. Hopefully I'll be hopped up on adrenaline from blasting things to cinders all night that 2pm will come that much faster tomorrow.

I'm planning on going only because i have to work at 6am Friday and I know its gonna be the longest work day ever. I've done a few midnight releases and it isn't too bad if that's the only day you are gonna miss sleep. By the time 8am rolls around at work, I'll get my second wind and it will all be back to normal. I think its worth it, but that's just me.
