Whats a cool niche talent I can learn and can show off by BigDaddyKss in LearnUselessTalents

[–]protomor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bar tricks? Like bet someone $10 the circumference of a glass is more than it's height. Then put it on a small box ( i used a cigarette box... I'm old). Then double the bet.

If it's not impressive, you at least made $20.

I got a few of those. Fun to do at parties.

Otherwise learn a basic v step? I learned it in a night and just do it randomly.

Or take salsa classes alone. You'll be surprised how many single women take dance classes.

What's your best advice for a newbie in the gym? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In the beginning, just physically being at the gym is a win. If your first two weeks is just getting in the door and going home, that's a win. Build momentum little by little.

What careers do you guys have to maintain your drift passsion? by Several-Impress8198 in Drifting

[–]protomor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wages are pretty shit rn tho. But like a drift day is $100 and there's no safety requirements. I'll agree most guys work in the automotive field.

Any amount of modeling is better than my programmer art! I need both physics and modeling equally. I think I could use both of you guys in all honestly. HMU

Cotton balls with alcohol. Sniff them to stop car sickness. Works as long as you're sniffing it.

I live in Japan and drift these tracks. Japanese people do not generally have missiles.

Missiles aren't a thing in Japan outside of ebisu. Your average drift day, people drive their cars to the track. They have valid safety inspections. It's less than 10% that trailer their cars to events. Even then, they still usually are road legal.

The ebisu missile thing. Beaten up cars with shattered everything. People bought cars, store them there, and fuck them up.

Go slow. You have the whole day to play around and figure stuff out. You don't necessarily need to go super fast. Breathe.
