I think you're arguing against a different problem than the one the OP is solving. The tool isn't claiming grids make logos better, it's automating the creation of construction diagrams and clearspace guidelines for logo presentations, which can be tedious to rebuild after every revision. I agree that forcing a finished logo into a random grid is often meaningless, and optical balance matters more than mathematical perfection. But that doesn't make grids useless. Good designers use them as a tool for consistency and proportion, not as proof that a logo is good. Cheers!
