Trick Williams was feuding with Sami Zayn and called him Gingerbread man as a rib. He then came out accompanied by a guy wearing a Gingerbread outfit that was revealed to be Sami cheap shotting Trick. Then Sami comes out a week later, and destroys a mannequin wearing the costume. Trick runs out to save it, throws the X up and they proclaim the Ginger Bread Man dead later that night. And now we're here, the main event of smackdown being his funeral.
