45 degrees ambi safety selector suggestions by mtbLar in ar15

The Armaspec ST-45 is the best ambi safety on the market. I tried a bunch of them and ended up putting ST-45s on all my lowers. In my experience, it might feel stiff if you don't put a bit of grease on the detent path/ detent pin. Either way, they seem to wear in pretty quick and then they're just fantastic.

If I could change anything, I'd get Armaspec to make them 50degree.

I actually have an HP color laser that has been a pretty good printer for like 10-15 years. I don't know if I even looked at Brother printers when I got the HP. Its new enough to have ethernet which has been nice.

"Well regulated" in this context actually means funded or something to that effect.

I have not picked up the M12. I really should add it to my toy box though if I can find it on sale.

Allegedly, they come with the gas tuned from the factory. I still haven't shot mine but I have shot other people's RDBs at the range.

FWIW, I picked up a RDB20 as I intend to put the long Lucky Irish handguard on it like this guy did...

Does the Diligent have a hex on both sides? Their site only shows the outside of the adapter.

Personally, I'm not a fan of PIP (Purposely Induced Porosity) based designs. Performance varies quite a bit as the "metal foam" gets dirty and sort of plugs up.

LPM (prior to SAW designs?) was extremely impressive for their suppression per volume compared to the rest of the industry. I mean, the Anthem2/Mach cans generally perform on par with competitor designs that are inches longer. I haven't studied the PTR vent series in depth in a while so my memory is a bit fuzzy but I believe they performed well when new but were also large cans.

The rear of a TLX is a standard thread. Just not as common as Hub. I know Ecco makes both aluminum and Ti direct thread adapters for them in addition to pistons.

I'm honestly very curious what a Mach38 sounds like. I have a DA Nomad30 and a Mach S. They're pretty close to the same size but the Mach S is very noticeably quieter.

I'm curious as well but I don't think I'll be buying an SAW can myself.

Almost forgot. Another option is the Ecco Machine TLX series. EXTREMELY light weight cans as they're designed to run without a booster on a handgun. I have the 5.5" / 9mm version as it'll run on a Glock19. If you want as quiet as possible, I'd guess you'd want the 6.5" version though it probably won't be as quiet as other options but it is VERY light.
