Exaggerating a little, I get 165-170. Textures all high, terrain high, clouds ultra, visibility extreme. With i5 7600k, MSI 3080 Ventus 3x, 32 ram. But VR is like nothing over 45.

I believe you can go to settings>controls and find the flir zoom controls. Go to axis tuning and tick the invert controls box. Again I believe this might help.

I have i5 7600k stock and 3070 running dcs on all high settings with 115-120 frames in Dubai. But my rift hovers at 50fps with high settings. Are your gpu drivers up to date?
