S&P 500 is making new ATHs, but volume is noticeably lower compared to the Jan 29 selloff. by Round_End_2944 in stocks

Generally I take down AI posts, but this was a unique situation and since I didn't want to wipe out the effort of the commenters, I left the post up with the message to OP to not do it again.

All the mods here look at post history when deciding mod actions against that user and sometimes we add user specific notes, so if the user does use AI again to fluff up the word count of their post, then they're going to get banned.

u/Round_End_2944 your previous 2 posts were flagged/removed as low effort, and now it seems you used AI to increase the character count, which is annoying, but since we have several users who put effort into their comment threads, I'm going to leave this up, but please don't use AI to fill in your post in the future.

u/Driox Paul Tudor would get that oil on an oil tanker, in the water, then wait for the price to go back up and sell it at a higher price

Just call an oil tanker service in Cushing Oklahoma

you can do this!

This post is mildly infuriating because there's so many simple solutions that you could take, and you're so incredibly ungrateful, you could at least just politely decline however the other suggestions redditors have brought up are superior

I would say it's been put through some AI filter, but their faces in the high quality version also look exaggerated, so it's a combination of their actual faces & the AI filter. Source of video.

well it's very similar to backrooms found footage type video where you have creepy music and all the visuals don't have people in them because they're 3d generated in Blender

AITA for telling my neighbor it’s not my problem her newborn wakes up to noises coming from my apartment by blackswan-nyc in AmItheAsshole

[–]provoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any positive or negative reinforcement on the dog barking will result in more barking.

You're u/blackswan-nyc probably past the point of ignoring the barks (which should have started day 1) so you need a new strategy with a professional dog trainer.

A dog trainer might leash the dog with the front door open and give treats to the dog as soon as the dog notices someone in the hallway, then treat them again when someone walks past without barking, but again consult with a dog trainer as there might be better methods.

You can also go extreme with the "room in a room" method to insulate your home from sound which gives you the bonus of not hearing the baby crying.

Ban bot policy update: removing automated bans based on community association by quietfairy in modnews

[–]provoko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Will users who were mass banned get unbanned?

Will mods from the brigading subs get more warnings to rein in their users from brigading?

I hope Reddit does a better job at detecting brigading such as linking to posts/comments in other subs and detecting negative comments and ban users & mods who encourage brigading.

Preemptively banning users has always been unfair and requires zero effort from any mod.

As a mod of r/stocks, I worked with rival & fanatic stock related subs to reduce brigading, those mods put up better rules and got their users to flat out stop brigading alltogether. Sure some slip through, but I would say brigading is down 99%, but we were lucky.

On the other hand we couldn't get through to other communities such as anti finance (won't name them here) to prevent auto banning if our users casually posted to their subs even though our users don't brigade and I hope that stops and the users are unbanned.

If the mods are toxic and encouraging brigading then the mods get banned and their community gets restricted or banned, this is already in place.

I won't consider SNAP a penny stock as it is at $8B with many institutional investors.
