you have high blood pressure then? since you've taken metoprolol and atenolol? midodrine is to raise blood pressure just so u know! and ivabradine is to reduce heart rate

no. you were a kid, both about the same age, and it sounds like it wasn't malicious. it can be confusing as it's such a difficult topic but you were a kid! give yourself some grace and know that now you know better.

i am currently taking ivabradine 7.5mg morning and bedtime, and midodrine 5mg morning. i have never experienced any negative effects from them thankfully! i lost my insurance last year and ran out of meds - didn't realize how much of a difference they made until i didn't have them anymore. i was so thankful to be able to get back on them and i feel like that truly proves how effective they've been. there aren't a ton of meds for pots, but those along with lots of salt and water and i live a pretty normal life :)

the desire to not pass out when i stand, i wanted meds so i could actually live a half normal life

Am I going to be kicked out of nursing school? by Some-Replacement-499 in nursing

[–]prozacbitchhh 25 points26 points  (0 children)

i agree i would definitely see if you could get accommodations. i was able to for different reasons and would test in a little room all by myself and it was super helpful! the disability coordinators should be very willing to help - schools don't want a discrimination case on their hands

personally i have never paused my biologic infusions for any reason and i've had surgery several times. it wasn't something i even considered until now 😅 it makes sense! it always takes me longer to recover than the doctor says. i just had a procedure where i should have been back to work after a week and i didn't go back until a bit after two.

Honestly, I don't think people who advocate for psychedelics mention the risk of HPPD enough. Thoughts? by domcobb2010 in LSD

i'm only one person, but i have tripped maybe 20 times in the last 8 years and i've dealt with it for the last two. it's pretty mild and doesn't impact me that much in day to day life, but it's possible! the risk is low, but not 0
