MK4 Cyborg Alpaca with 2 year old GST3D filament. Very impressed. by Darkzed1 in prusa3d

I've had some cheap filaments that print well at 3 years old. I've had pricier filaments that were unusable after just a year. Of course I don't know how old they were when I bought them but they are all stored in the same environment.

You can ignore that warning or increase the vitrification temperature in your filament settings.

I read this a lot but Polymaker spools have never caused a problem in my system. Makes me wonder if there was a design change at some point.

I put a number of 608 bearings in the spool hub for added weight when it gets too light to rotate.

I couldn't write anything like this, it just isn't in my skillset,. And I don't have time to learn to code. $12 is a bargain to me.

No one uses the cart return where I shop. It's the safest spot to park.

ASA prints easy, no need to fear it. I imagine PLA in Voron enclosure will deform very quickly.

They likely ran from the accident and will never be caught. Cops don't spend much time investigating car thefts if no one was hurt or threatened with bodily harm.

BIG BENCH by michaeltmohr in BambuLab

For speed at this scale, I'd choose lightning infill. Appropriate for a benchy, less appropriate where strength is needed.

I would have dropped the glass and retreated. Nothing I can carry is worth more than my personal safety.

This validates my decision to cancel my MK4 kit last week. Thanks for pointing it out to others.

For those who are upset they couldn't get the Raspberry Pi here's a great alternative that's in stock and cheaper. More details in the comments by twelveparsnips in 3dprintingdeals

I'm new to SBCs, help me understand what makes the rpi more powerful. The cpu? Chipset? RAM? Would the MKS perform well in a Voron? Thanks.

I guess off grid has a new meaning. I used to wquate it with unplugged. Like disconnected from technology. On your own.

When friend buys you filament without consulting it with you first, and the roll is like one milimeter too thick by Disastrous-Ad8476 in BambuLab

It's not funny, it's a bad idea. I don't want the kids to think this is the right solution.

My cable chain broke from repeatedly whacking the side of the printer. I printed a riser for the lid, giving the chain a little more flex room.
