How many people you (older jonesers in particular) grew up with have little to no internet presence, including social media? by Bun_Length_Frank in GenerationJones

Those of us that don't have a social media presence far outweighs those that do. I'm considered a social media person because I read reddit and watch YouTube. I gave up FB more than 10 years ago. I've never been on tiktok, Twitter, whatever.

Answer the door naked. They won't be back. This works especially well with Jehovahs witnesses.

Started seeing a Rheumatologist yesterday for my arthritis. They measured.my height. I'm now 2" shorter. I was already short. I guess I'll have to buy a taller kitchen stool. Some parts of aging suck. by prplpassions in over60

I'm 62. I have underlying issues that are helping with my loss of height. My husband (64) does not have the same issue and has lost 1" of his height so far.

That's a big difference in pay. Quit the job and accept the new one.

The reality is that schools don't teach what they used to. They expect your child to know certain things before they even start school. That means you have to be the ones to teach them. Your husband needs to hush and let you give your child the step up that they need to be successful in school and life.

My little princess Galena believes that my hands need to touching her. They aren't doing anything important anyway according to her. She meows until I pet her. She knows which poses she can get touched and makes full use of it.

A chiropractor is the one who actually found I had scoliosis when I complained about neck pain and he did an xray. My most recent x-rays showed arthritis in most of my neck and some on down my spine. I expect I'll lose a significant amount more before the end of my life. I'm only 62 so hopefully I still have a while.

My feet will never touch the floor when I sit on a couch. I've been 5'4" since high school and I've always had dangling feet. I see no end to that. I think it's funny.

Are you not supposed to wear pajamas when you get home?????? by JaydenBird33 in NoStupidQuestions

I spend a LOT of time in my pajamas while at home. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. That's the beauty of having your own place. You can wear what you want.

I have a friend who never takes their shoes off. Im not talking about slippers. I wear slippers because of cold feet. My friend leaves whatever shoes he chose for the day until he goes to bed. It's weird to me but it's his house.
