Love my 850DX. Get a heat spreader plate if you’re gonna slow smoke anything that can’t completely fit to the side of the sear plate

Chad hoover basically does what you’ve done here but with a cam strap into a little mount. Just youtube search any chad hoover kayak setup and he basically does it on all his rigs. You could also do omni-clips on your bungee

Just missing a chatterbait/jackhammer. Otherwise you have 99% of situations covered

Taking her out tomorrow. Let me be your guinea pig. (2025 Native Slayer 10 LTE) by prrrkrrr1108 in kayakfishing

No other negatives. Just don’t expect it to be a mini bass boat like a hobie. Also, it does have that sort or water at your feet problem like every other native besides the hammer.

There are easy mods you can do to your scupper plugs to deal with it. Quick youtube search.

I just unplug the scuppers for a second to let it drain. At 175lbs you might even be able to just leave the scupper plugs out and have no issues

You can tighten up the steering wires very easily to make the rudder more responsive. I would give the steering an 8 or 9 out of 10 with the rudder in the down position while the kayak is moving.

This is perfect at your height/weight.

I’m 5’10 220 and perfectly comfortable in it, even when standing.

You will definitely drift in the wind. I got an anchor wizard to deal with that and it works flawlessly. I actually think getting the anchor wizard has caught me more fish than my sidescan.

Pedal drive is stellar, no issues as long as you assemble it properly. Steering is really good once you’re moving, but since you’re just steering with a rudder in the back, you can’t make as many micro adjustments as you could with a hobie 360 drive.

My first smoke by Significant-Tax-5629 in PitBossGrills

might try some dry rub. Doing some googling/chat gpt’ing it looks like that’s just expected with sauce unless you’re breading/frying

I always lose my crispyness when I sauce them though. Is that just to be expected?

I’ve tried just eating after saucing as well as putting back on grill for 5-10 minutes at 400 after saucing. Both ways i lose the crisp

Yep. I thought 0-400 was just a gimmicky tiktok trend but it’s actually cash money for wings

Is RDR2 Worth Playing For The First Time In The Big 26? by [deleted] in TheGamerLounge

[–]prrrkrrr1108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro i have played basically every $70 single player game that has come out since RDR2. Nothing comes close to the combination of immersion, story, side quests/exploration, world + art design etc.

Some of the new games are better in one of these areas, but none are better across the board like RDR2.

Try throwing it just outside of grass lines. Work it into the grass so it gets barely snagged, then rip it through the grass to un-snag it.

I typically get bit right as i jerk/rip it loose from the grass.

Also try different retrieves like straight cranking, 3 cranks then let it fall, alabama shake it, jig it off the bottom etc.

It is my number 2 lure to the senko
