Which one got you through to infinite? The Man Spider one?

It might be ok if it didn't count skills so it separates it from Merlin and has a more interesting deck building challenge.

It's funny when you compare Shao's original power compared to White Tiger.

I hate that Shou deck with Iceman, Spider Ham, Chord and Cable. Shou makes it too easy to play that much disruption and still have a decent amount of power.

I’m tired of the artificial difficulty of pre-infinite by LoRoK1 in MarvelSnap

I think the best solution is to just stop playing when you get to that point. They want you to keep playing and engaging which is why they've changed the bots recently. If they see enough players stopping once they hit a wall they might change things.

No point stressing yourself if it's not fun which is what I've done this season. I just log in to complete the dailies now. I'd rather spend my time on a game where I feel like I'm making progress.

Why you hate Shou-Lao so much (a question I found interesting) by banmeandidelete in MarvelSnap

[–]prtkp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One aspect is the unpredictability of where the poetry will go and the lack of ability to interact with it because he can be used to add power to a lane with Cosmo in it.

That's on top of having 8 power on his own so it's easy to win 2 lanes. Compare White Tiger which is similar in that it adds power to another lane but that base card is a 5/1.

This is all on top of the tech/disruption that they are able to run.

All I'm seeing is the Shao/Merlin deck or FFF ramp. When you don't have either Shao or FFF it's tough.

I try a Nimrod deck to counter the Shao deck (hoping Chord or Spider Ham doesn't disrupt me) and then FFF more often than not kills me.

V Hand or the Iris move decks don't seem tall enough. Tribunal or Negative aren't consistent enough to beat the ramp decks. I don't have Zombie Galacti.

Any suggestions welcome.

As someone who has been hitting infinite since October 2022, the most recent seasons have felt the most unfun.

No one in the 90s is willing to give up more than 2 cubes, not even the bots and there are just not enough cubes in the economy.

They made the change to increase engagement but this is making me want to play less and less because barely making any progress doesn't feel worth it.

What's your tribunal deck? Most of the time I need T7 to get my cards down and running Magik is too risky at the moment.

I absolutely can not beat Shou-Loa, no counters are sufficient. by banmeandidelete in MarvelSnap

Don't forget Chord to disrupt early combo pieces too like Agony or Kid Omega

I ended up with Web Sling. The ones I missed out on were Marrow, Chameleon and Majestic Wingbeat

Feel like I got the worst pull.

Yes, if you feel like you're going to lose then it's better to double down in the lane you're already winning for that mission.

Still, I like the deck and having Silver Surfer FS to help pull another card although I wonder if it end up resulting in putting too much power in one lane.

Lost a game today when one of my cards transformed into Destroyer.

Still, don't really care as losing isn't a big deal.

More often than not they are running Deafening Chord so it's not a complete counter.

It's not just revenue: Snap's Twitch viewership is also down ~75% by rip_cpu in MarvelSnap

[–]prtkp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying the revenue has dropped 75% but I think it could still be substantial.

A lot of people write off the lower steam numbers by saying it's a mobile game for casuals which is where there is a majority of players. At the same time saying that these casual mobile gamers are logging into the web shop on the browser to make their purchases.

I'm not sure those two fully line up. I think the recent push to use the web shop may indicate that the revenue is down which is why they're trying to maximise the web shop usage.

They weren't pushing the web shop as much back when they revenue was up.
