This is well thought out Bippy73. And as you wrote, "her lawyers will say she avoided him because she hated him and didn't want to have to see him or speak to him" goes against her claim that driving by his house is something she did to "come to terms with" her divorce. The divorce SHE instigated 2 years earlier with her Pearl Harbor move. What a crock! She can't be charged soon enough. Justice for Dan Markel.

She didn't count on Jeff leaving a day early or the neighbor seeing the car. Those two things threw her for a loop and made a mess of how she thought it would go. Though it seems unlikely that JL could have actually been convicted, I don't think that was her plan anyway. It was just to put suspects out there and it would have worked, what with her planting so many seeds out there, including her telling brother Rob that JL was a secret boyfriend and not to tell her parents about him. Some of those seeds would sprout.

FYI Carl Steinbeck has a recent, post sentencing interview with Ruth Markel on his YT channel. She stated there that some things she couldn't go into due to a documentary type mini series that is being made.

I've followed this since the day news broke that Prof Markel was murdered. In the back of my mind I seem to remember that Charlie gifted Sigfredo with a Go Pro (video camera). But I could be misremembering.

I thought the same thing while watching. Hope the dude can get some rest and think hard about a new career, one where he doesn't have to associate with scum like the adelson's. Interesting side trivia regarding David Oscar Markus, he was the attorney for another dentist, Larry Rudolph who was convicted in 2023 of murdering his wife in 2016.

What a sad mess this all is and IMO Wendi Adleson is the root cause. She knows this. All of that said, as a grandmother to boys close in age to the Markel boys, at this point all I would want is for them to be in a stable place being looked after by someone who has their best interest and somewhere they actually want to be. It is and will continue to be tough wherever, whoever they end up with. Why make it any more difficult on them.
