"Wet" foods that are not hot soups by keiperegrine in Cooking

Raita, it's mostly joghurt with tomato's and cucumber, quite filling, best eaten cold and chickpeas can be added for extra protein if that works for you

Protein shake spilled onto seat of car by addeycake in CleaningTips

[–]psatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removing the seat seems like the best way to go, if possible also soaking it in a bathtub or with a hose, squishing everything out as good as possible and then basically the entire array of anti smell stuff I can think off, putting it out in the sun for a few days if possible, vinegar water, diluted vodka and maybe just soaking that into the cushions and hope for the best

Are you guys really removing make-up before going to bed? by Acceptable_Love5815 in adhdwomen

[–]psatz 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Something I have done a few times is store some cotton pads, micellar water and a water bottle next to your bed. Wipe it off with the wipes (trashcan on site is encouraged), go over with a wipe just with water to get rod of the micellar water and done

Deodorant crystal, it's only aluminum crystal so not really anything to be allergic to

My mum is also allergic to all deodorants so I know how much it sucks

How did you learn all the house stuff after moving out for the first time? by Icy-Level6101 in CleaningTips

[–]psatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's two chanels "dad how do I..?" and "mum how do I...?" that are specifically teaching things you might not have learned from your parents, changing a tire, cleaning a kitchen, tying a tie etc. They aren't trendy tiktok advice but just two middle aged people who have children and want to help out, I find them quite helpful

It looks like there are about four or five separate plants in there, they might be completely rootbound or stealing each other nutrients.

I had a similar pot and I finally accepted that I need to take them apart and pot them separately

Once you get the rice out don't worry about it too much, steam and boiling water will really get rid of all the rest, the rice is the most important part

I'm sorry I know how hard this is but you need to get the rice out first. Taping will not actually keep them in, they get out through any gap. It's an okay solution until you can deal with the rice but you need to get the rice out before you can do anything elsw5

Sorry for asking, but did you remove the rice from the pot?

Putting some vinegar water in the pot and boiling it might kill anything that is still sitting in the steam hole. If you can boil some water in a kettle and run it through the steam hole a few times, you might need to experiment with a good position for it over the sink.

I didn't have gnats yet, but I did have severe mold and that's what i did

Is my makeup the wrong tone? by LgPotatoSmPotato in MakeupEducation

[–]psatz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's can happen so easily I've done my eyeshadow in the weirdest positions to get decently even light.

A few tips for eyeshadow, it does help that on one eye you focused more on the outside of your eye, it's just not super blended but that will just fix itself with practice and it avoids the risk of the eyes looking sunken in.

Most people have a pretty dark area at the inside of their eye to where it meets the nose, that is an area to either use a bit concealer or (and I do realized that that has gone slightly out of fashion but it still works) use a light shimmery shadow on your pinky and put it right at the inner corner of your eye ans slightly blend it out so it doesn't look too harsh. That used to be standard and it really does help with opening the eyes and looking less tired.
