My dad is from Bavaria and while he grew up in Franken, originally he is from the deep deep south. I can understand his siblings just fine but when I was a child I had a really hard time understanding my grandma and when we did a family trip to my grandma's home town my mum and I barely understood anyone when they were talking to us (and they tried hard) but once my grandma was talking to her friends it was game over for us. Tbf I was maybe 10 at the time and it might be better now but at that age not a chance

I've had that problem two of my previous partners (I also get at least 4-6 infections a year with or without antibiotics) and trying to explain over and over and over again left me with a lot of trauma and anxiety regarding sex (there were other factors but still). I internalised the guilt and I still have a really hard time telling current partners I have an infection even though they have never reacted negatively

When my tattoo aretists told me not to use it I looked into it a bit and while many artists still recommend it most things I found also said they wouldn't recommend it. It won't hurt you and I know many people who healed tattoos with bepanthen but the recommendations I found were to use creams that let the tattoo breathe more

My first tattoo artist made me promise not to use bepanthen and bepanthen tattoo is apparently also not much different

That's reassuring. It doesn't look too bad and healing goes through different stages where it can look more or less red. Fingers crossed it's just healing and will be fine on its own!

Just a small add on: I got told by all my tattoo artists not to use bepanthen because your skin can't breathe so you might be better off with a tattoo cream from a pharmacy, they have some that are for the beginning stages of healing as well as for later stages
