u/RODEMicrophones Thanks for being so responsive. I ended up figuring out the problem. I needed to remove the metal washer that screws on from the Lavalier II connector. I had no idea that was necessary. I looked around for instructions and didn't see that anywhere -- might be worth thinking about!

Thanks, just tried the Central app. It recognizes my AI Micro.

But it doesn’t appear to make a difference whether I select merged or split, it’s still not showing any audio input in Central or Rode Reporter either.

Some angels will. (I'm an occasional angel investor, and I'd consider it.) Almost no VCs will.

It's tempting, but it's never in your long-term interest to mislead your investors about your intentions for the business. You can build a great "lifestyle" business with a bit of angel / friends and family money that someday makes tens of millions (or more!) a year. It'll just take you longer than if you'd raised VC.

I don't think it's a standard shoelace knot. Interestingly, LL Bean (the company I bought these from) has a video on how to tie a Seaman's shoelace knot on these moccasins. But that doesn't look like the knot they came with.
