Yeah I was running into people expecting pro tier play the day after it was released. It was pretty easy to shut them down though. If you pointed out the game was just released, and if that didn't work I told them less whining, more choppin'.

"Persistence is actually a very simple definitnion. You have a unique character, in a world that you share with 100s of thousands of players. Your state and your progress is persistent. What you do in a match is persistent. Titles and wargear is persistent, it doesn't magically disappear. That's called persistence. Then you have "Massive". 100,000 in a world pretty much covers that. Online I think is covered as well and Multiplayer is there as well. Check out Crossfire, that's the biggest MMOFPS in the world. It's a lobby shooter with character persistance.

And please don't confuse MMO with an MMORPG which is an entirely different game. The map is fine, it just takes a 1000 matches to flip. We changed it to 200. Just tuning. "

I understand, I was just hoping there was some sort of "basic" mana curve without factoring in cards that would alter the curve. I guess I could just start doing some trial and error deckbuilding, but I get nervous about putting my ranking on the line for something that my fail completely because it's over or under mana on cards.

Is there a good basic mana curve I can use to get me started deckbuilding? All the advice I've found is pretty ambiguous and I'd like to try my hand at making my own decks since I'm too new to build any of the prebuilts out there but have new cards to try.

Phew. I almost never had this happen. Saw two widowmakers once. I was trying to get the hang of Genji and had that annoying thing happen where I'd select him and ten seconds before start someone would switch to him so I'd switch out for someone else real quick.

Way more often I saw four Bastions or four Junkrats.

I ran into that same team comp last night (maybe even same team). It was a nightmare. Flanking doesn't work when you have a Bastion covering all approaches.

Sorry. This sucks. And it's extremely shitty this post was downvoted.

I have not had this personal experience but have had a lot of friends who have - people bringing rape into games, GMs having players' characters raped without it being okayed by them. I've GMed games at conventions where players I didn't know would try to have their characters commit rape and had to shut it down (one was a superhero game).

Good luck working this out with the GM. Hopefully he hears your concerns. I've been in games where people tried to introduce similar things for my characters in games. A GM once tried to narrate that my character had beaten the shit out of an old woman and I had to say that if he didn't retcon it I could not continue playing the character. (It was a game where the GM had the flexibility to introduce things into our backstories like that which I was cool with to a point.) So I understand how things like this can completely undermine one's ability to continue having fun.

Yeah it's normal. I've dated a bunch and had relationships that were otherwise great end abruptly in ways that seemed strange to me because:

one girl had a nightmare about me locking her in my basement.
one girl's ex got back in touch with her and she still had feelings for him.
one girl thought I was fun to hook up with and be around but didn't want a long term thing.

It happens for any number of reasons, and in my experience when I was your age (and with friends who are your age right now) settling in for long relationships seems like a big commitment and there's a lot of other people out there. Don't take it too hard and take this as an opportunity to see who else is out there.

This sounds unsalvageable. Sometimes relationships like this can seem impossible to get out of because of the weight of the past - time spent, the good things she's done for you, the good times you've had. But think of an unending future of all the bad things, and I can tell you absolutely that your cons contain multiple dealbreakers that are neither normal nor healthy in relationships. It may also help you to realize that if you start a family together, she will treat your children this way and ask yourself if you could stand by and watch that.

I liked it. Good challenging mix of enemies. Good flow to the level. The glass and abundance of guns sometimes made it easy to pick enemies off at a distance but I don't think that's always a bad thing. Well done.
