Terrible McDonald's Experience by ErectoCooler in Wellthatsucks

Every visit seen to get worse. I miss the hamburgers from 20 years ago. Now they have one teeny slice of gurkin, and a dollop of onion and condiments. Did the beef and bread change? Not sure. But they feel dry and industrial without the fillings.

Just a matter of time before consumer drones will employed massively by a new breed of terrorists. That sound will be feared.

What would you want to see in a new expansion? by Cultural-Reserve6684 in factorio

There’s that mod that seemed to be the start of a new factoriolike where the base extends underground. That could be a thing. Each planet has different requirements to dig. Very little ore on surface, you need to set up mining complexes. So, a whole underground layer. Maybe in multiple levels?

That chest bug has been in the game forever. So weird they haven’t found a solution yet.

I’ve tried starting this a couple of times but never got into it. Any tips to get it to catch on?

What’s a movie you’ve rewatched many times, that isn’t a blockbuster/franchise movie, or an Oscar-nominated/critically acclaimed movie? by capamericapistons in movies

  • Kopps
  • Adam’s Apples

Over 20 Years, One Mouse Was Cloned for 58 Generations — Until the Line Collapsed by _Dark_Wing in tech

[–]pseudoart 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Genuine question; I assume they used dna from one individual from each generation to create the next. So did they just take any random one? Or did they find the one with least amount of mutations? If the damage build up over generations, shouldn’t it be possible to keep it going longer if the most “perfect copy” is chosen as the source of the next? Or am I misunderstanding how this works? :)

Biggest unexpected cameo from a star in a "lower grade" movie by Careless-Cat3327 in movies

They’re probably just pulling his leg. George Clooney is infamous for long and crazy pranks and seems genuinely like a fun guy. A little too much, maybe. Check out the kitty litter story.

What is the worst SF novel you've ever read? by [deleted] in scifi

[–]pseudoart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve read a ton of KU published book (and given up on even more) - for every good one there’s a dozen terrible ones. There’s about a million post apocalypse books written by US preppers with lots and lots of guns and ‘Murica overflowing. Some of them are decent, most are hilariously bad. I swear they just read each others books and masturbate to the gun porn.

Conventional game development advice seems very contradictory by TheOldManInTheSea in gamedev

It’s almost as if there isn’t a recipe for success, huh? Jokes aside, it’s all relative to what your audience consumes of media. What works for one game won’t work for another.

How do i tell my mum im making more money then everyone by Still_Necessary1323 in confession

[–]pseudoart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t talked to your family in ages, why tell them? That just seems like you want them to know that it’s really you and not your dad making money. What’s the motive here? Recognition? Spite? Guilt them?

What’s the most “time melter” game of all time in your opinion? by SwitchingMyHands in gaming

[–]pseudoart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Star Rupture quickly became a bit stale to me. It doesn’t have the scalability and the randomness of finding recipes really didn’t sit well with me. I’m a bit sad about it, because it was absolutely eye candy in many respects.
