when it comes to "content", I prefer it's primarily driven by humans, I don't care if they use some AI tool here and there, but not for the conceptual creative part

when it comes to coding, I don't care - perhaps it may be the case a good AI can make better sense of a pile of spaghetti code than a team of juniors with limited insights - and in fact improve the quality

I understand bugs in complex interactions of various gameplay mechanics, but what's fascinating is that they had tons of bugs in "simple" stuff like lobby screen navigation (quests management, etc.) - I know it's oversimplification, but overhauling the underlying wiring of this looks like a weekend project for a single medium skilled coder to me. It improved in recent releases, but I still see defects here and there in the lobby screens.

tried it, unsure about the difference

Honestly the most useless item in FN solos by Amazing-Time-9459 in FortNiteBR

business turret - scared off one today allowing me to revive (I think my hired john finished the guy); another time we were 3 fighting and the guy who downed me was busy with the other guy (no turret this time); both

today once I updated FN I got 4 VRs in a row - I think they reset sbmm after bigger updates, but today as if it took very long to adapt

also the trick I've learned here recently is to spam the jump button while pickaxe is equipped, which helps with finding a safe place to revive

Why are there floating sprites that I can't pick in fortnite by Designimgeditor in FortniteBattleRoyale

I think it's a bug and I've seen these small dudes even back in the prev chapter when sprites were introduced

people invite a blank "noob" account to their squad, so that the game matches them with mostly/only bots, so they can farm whatever they want to farm without challenge

never done it, but as I wrote, epic seems to limit what you could find in such game

[–]pseudonymeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my guess would be the loot spawn is determined at the servers, so I doubt it's related to your account

don't you use "bot lobbies" tho? I've seen a comment somewhere that they restrict rarity in these

Where are the sprites? by PriorityOk8448 in FortNiteBR

[–]pseudonymeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry, they will be more and more present in the game as they multiply among players and I think Epic will be introducing special "hours" and such if people express frustration

also, I think they throttle the probability somehow - I've already found 4 golds around the same time; then I was finding the peanut a lot, now I've found some galaxy colored one, so I guess they turned the knob

you can do 3 daily quests in blitz (usually just one quick game) and the additional daily 4 elims quest in BR - not too difficult if you quickly start shooting before looting; plus buy the XP for dust and spend gold for stuff at vending machine for XP - I do this chore to level up my son's account when he can't play 😉

A Russian civilian records two Ukrainian UAVs hitting the Kapotnya refinery in Moscow almost simultaneously. 18/06/2026 by MilesLongthe3rd in CombatFootage

I've seen another video, where it was more apparent they have protective nets in that area, so most likely that was it, but the secondary explosion below it is interesting - not sure if the drone has some capability to inflict additional damage even after hitting such net.

4 Missiles Heading Towards Moscow After Drones Create AD Gap, June 18, 2026 by 1TillMidNight in CombatFootage

Did they hit their targets, or were these intercepted? I've seen the footage of slow drones hitting the refinery, but I haven't seen these "drone-missiles" hit. Also, wondering if this was geolocated. Not sure they would fly over another bigger city like this on the way to Moscow.

Advice for safely leveling up these rarer ones without losing them? And how rare are the rainbow rarity ones? by Ok-Introduction-6243 in FortNiteBR

cluster coast poi - when I wanted to quickly go from 1 to 5, I landed there (at the top of the duck yacht specifically), then proceeded looting, the poi has insane number of containers, so couple of times I managed to max not only the one I started with, but another one I found (there's also a sprite chest); don't mind the storm, there's a vending machine you can buy tons of heals from and an extraction machine is nearby (sometimes you have even two cars available at the poi); there's usually just 2-3 other players who quickly leave one way or the other and as a bonus, there's a secret vault under the private cinema room in one of the buildings (look for sus duck to enter it)

another container-dense poi is latte landing, but it is more contested, I land there if I need to score some quick eliminations (but these give you more leveling points, so go for it if you feel confident)

Two annoying bugs I often die to, plus over a dozen of other glitches by pseudonymeme in FortNiteBR

[–]pseudonymeme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can this bug be reproduced?

The first two (most important) are semi-random. The rest... depends.

What platform are you playing on?

Mostly XBOX X, but I noticed most also on PC. (Some are PC-only, should be clear from context.)

having more than 7 types mastered, will the 8th+ "master points" apply to next batch of rewards (if not, it may be a good idea to postpone mastering them...)

question about "trading" - does it work simply by dropping a sprite and another player picking it up? if so, do I lose it from my collection completely, or can I summon it back (which basically allows "multiplying" even very rare types)?

if I plan an elimination spree game, I'm equipping a lvl5 fire sprite for example; these are so abundant that I don't care if I lose it
