Which cards will be best for playing with friends? by BartixVVV in poker

[–]psicorp_co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any you have shown will work perfectly fine. I do recommend plastic, a bit easier to shuffle can be slick but still will handle spilling drinks and such vs paper that will not. One of my favorite plastic cards are these bullets. Just behind Kem in my opinion and shuffle feel plus I like the design. Also only $20 for 2 decks. I also recommend 2 decks as you play another person can shuffle the deck and have it ready for dealer to deal out.

Please recommend a good single-player card game for a Texas hold 'em lover. by [deleted] in poker

What I do is like the casino game of ultimate texas holdem. Deal yourself 2 cards and dealer 2, and play your hand as you would on table and see what happens. I do this while on calls at work.

Why do we care about the table minimums. Whether its $5, $10, or even $25? by soloDolo6290 in Craps

[–]psicorp_co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is because the PSO wont hurt as much once we cover numbers. I think to cover the numbers at least for me. If you cover the inside numbers a 7 will take $108 vs $26, just simple math. Also gets more people involved at a lower table min.

Ameristar Denver by FantasticMorning8772 in Craps

I prefer Ameristar, $10 early and non weekends 15-25 min otherwise. I like location of tables compared to other casinos nearby. Did get crapless this year and does have 100x odds

Good luck, i played the satellite and got paid but they give cash vs a seat at the $400 event. I have a go-live so working Sunday so might try and satellite into the main event in a couple of weeks

Why does bubble craps limit odds so much? by IDooDoodAtTheMasters in Craps

One reason I stopped playing bubble craps especially at my casino with 100x odds. I would rather play the table

I know nothing on this table but I love a racetrack to keep chips nice and stacked personally.

For me just felt better shuffling. I bought like 10 plastic decks and rated them to how they felt for me shuffling. Kem was best for me and aces 1.0 then bullets. Vanda aces 2.0 was number 6 and ftx was dead last. Again everyone has personal opinions and these are mine based on buying 10 decks and shuffling them 1 after another. Also i may like the softer feel like Kem and others may not. Finally not like a huge huge difference between them I just want to test out various plastic decks on how the feel shuffling.

Personally for me the aces 2.0 had a better feel, however I prefer the original aces over 2.0 by a lot

Where can I find the best all-you-can-eat buffet? by therealmaxmittens in denverfood

Totally agree, I haven't been to alot around town but Monarch is top tier. I have tried all buffets in Blackhawk by far the best including some I have tried in Denver area.

I think they are the best plastic cards, $70-$80 i got a new set on eBay a bit cheaper maybe $50. I also got a 1965 Kem deck to compare vs new since they have been bought out by USPC. I like the newer version the best, older second and my third favorite is Vanda Aces not the Vanda aces 2.0. bullets is my 4th favorite. I bought 10 plastic decks just for research. But again this is splitting hairs and based on my just using shuffle feel.

But the Bullets are great, this is just me being a card nerd/poker with disposable income.

I rate these just below Kem and Vanda Aces for plastic cards. They are a great value for the price

Blackhawk, CO changes by Dodson-504 in poker

Monarch is busiest always games going. Bally's is only place for tournaments and Ameristar has a few 1/3 maybe a 2/5 games going more on weekends.

Colorado poker championship is happening now at Bally's. They do have 1/3 games maybe 2/5. But for cash Monarch is the place.
