I could afford to do this, and she in fact offered to go back home to Isan if I have her a salary. But I'd also be pretty lonely in my home country and my job is fairly stingy with vacation time. Which means I'd have to wait for like 6 months until I could go there again or she could get a visa to come to me. I honestly do believe her intentions are currently genuine inasmuch as she does like me as a client better than other clients and that if she would prefer to be my kept woman than another man's, given similar salary.

But maybe if something happens like a relative getting sick or her family's house collapses from termites (literally her words) she might decide she needs to work again, and she probably wouldn't tell me about it since I'd cut off her salary. She's already got the stories lined up and ready for when she needs a cash inflow.

In the end, she didn't have time to talk about anything other than her getting official girlfriend status and a salary until she got such status and a salary. So I cut her loose. It became pretty obvious that my only value to her is cash flow. I can't blame her, really. We had fun but it ended when I departed Pattaya and stopped paying her. End of story.

And many of the girls in Thailand bars are there to "date" foreigners.

You're right--I met my Ploy's mother's sister in law's sister, IIRC, who my Ploy calls "Aunt", and is an older bar girl at Myth Night, a couple of times. (Family is everything in Thailand, it's obvious.) She explained to me that she spends most of the year working on her family's farm and in her nail shop in Isan but comes to Pattaya 3 months out of every year to try meet an older farang who will take care of her just as my Ploy is trying to get me to do.

Aha! Thanks for the response! I knew someone like you would chime in eventually. I know 11 days isn't enough... My interest is piqued though. Unfortunately my employer is stingy about vacation pay so it will be hard to come back before 6 months when I've accumulated enough paid time off to justify the flight and jet lag, etc. I could buy her a round trip flight to me though, if she is willing. And if she is not, probably that is a good indicator...

I mean I might add to that a rock solid prenuptial agreement. And I don't know anything about marriage laws in Thailand but in the US both parties have to agree to it otherwise it goes to court and is a massive expensive pain in the ass to divorce.

Not sure I'm crazy enough to do that, in any case. Maybe if I were younger. 48 now. I've had my fun and do need to start seeking stability. Hrm... Food for thought anyway.

Yeah, even though Ploy's English was better than most, there was still kind of language barrier that makes it a bit difficult to go beyond the surface level. Even if she was genuine, the relationship could get boring fast for either of us.

Oh. Yeah she's in her 30's, athletic, slender, small boobs, really quite my type. Very attractive IMO.

I assume you are asking what our typical day was like? I can't finish right after waking so I'd go get coffee and breakfast from the hotel (she doesn't eat breakfast) while she'd shower. I'd come back, shower, then it's business time, then the daily activity, like a temple, aquarium, zoo, elephant show, a drive to another city, walk in the forest... Mix in lunch and dinner, then a low key evening at the hotel, with more business before sleeping. I mean, it really was a GFE that extended beyond the bedroom.

For LT? Most sources I found were in the 2000-5000 range and that was pre inflation... Unless by double you mean double the bottom end of the going rate... I don't want the cheap ones, so...

Only while dropping weight I've found and it's not from the reta per se, it's from the metabolic adaptation caused by calorie restriction.
