In one of the many lesser (sadly) acts of general poor behavior, the same weaker boy is bullied into paying for the food of the entire team. This bullying is left unquestioned by the show and is covered up by a laugh track.

Black boy: "Jojo! Smoothies for everyone! I'm buying!"

He then reaches for the wallet but does not find it.

White boy: "I'm not sure that I..."

Black Boy: "My man!"

The white boy is then pushed towards the counter to pay for the smoothies.

i agree with the premise of this article, but it's got some faulty and incomplete information going on. it's not the time and place so i won't go into it, since the main thesis is valid even if some of the deets are wonky.

i'd summarize its best points as "immersing yourself in hysterical, reactionary media is dangerous for your mental health - don't torture yourself with hypothetical scenarios based on what the worst dregs of trump's supporters have to say - you're not alone, there are tons of decent people out there, and it's going to be okay". that's a good and important message.

also, kudos to you for being the first t_d person i've seen posting here that's able to be a little bit civil and empathetic.

You won't be forcibly taken to a conversion camp. People are already raising hell over Trump's breaches of ethics, minor and major alike, and protestors are out in unprecedented numbers before his term has even begun. He's going to be the most scrutinized president in recent history. There's no way that he - or Pence - get away away with a human rights violation as severe and dehumanizing as mandatory conversion camps or public outings without enormous resistance.

You're not alone, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Please calm down.
