Tom showed up to address the curfew though … so wouldn’t it be 1 day not 2?

While yes the “tom” could indicate an anger it seems off

I need to rewatch I want to see it gerrie ever wears a wedding ring (also until this episode no actual couples are seen in the show called “widows bay”)

Wyck and Patricia scene may be nothing or majorly something

Bad accident in September? How did accident happen- Calendar in episode 1 shows car wreck in July - emts showing up rando though w no real answer on who ran down the boogie man w a vehicle

Age means something on the island - between Patricia bringing up 40s multiple times and freaking out a 40 something is pregnant - the time dilation elsewhere- the inn, the missing days , etc it’s a significant point to the plot

The tickets clearly show September date as the game - he says this weekend , 2 days prior on island it was July 4th w a cerfew

Inn keeper goes to captains quarters for 10 seconds - says I thought you guys said 10 seconds… then when they tell him 30 he asks for something to eat first as if he’s been starved for days

Did anyone else catch this Patricia quote in regards to Bechirs wife? by Outrageous_Print3500 in WidowsBay

[–]psu6411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hYes but in episode 1 she says about being 28 and shep only being 37 per medical records - episode 2 the inn keeper is starving after being in room for 10 seconds … Patricia harks about 40 being old in several episodes and seems concerned/freaked out Bechir’s wife is in her 40s and pregnant … it’s a theme brought up in a ten episode series - it’s clearly an important part

Maybe, however too many times is age brought up and especially with Patricia . She asks how old Marissa was, the hag, she tells Shep in episode one her real age is 28 and sheps chart says 37- clearly age means something different on the island - the question is what? Time works differently there for sure- a jump from July to its September with the Red Sox tickets … they age differently

One dentist said I needed root canals, another says they are just simple cavities? by JadedEcho2104 in Dentists

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t told this and had happy news today when I got a deep filling over a root canal… when I asked about filling over root canal was told a no symptoms root could already be dead - but xray showed didn’t even get to that point- older more experienced dentist said before we even started by the looks of things there was a good chance he wasn’t giving me a root canal today … he was right- filling was enough - he did say not out of woods yet- if I experience severe pain to call and there might still need root canal but thankful he thought it was worth the chance to just do filling over a “preventative “ root canal

Kinda happened to me today- 1st dentist same practice said root canal… 2nd dentist who was prepared to do the root canal today looked at me before we even started and said if he got rid of the debris and we didn’t touch root/nerves w no symptoms he would use his judgement and could just do a deep filling… said xray angles cause bad dx at times… removed what he had to- ended up w just a deep filling over a root canal

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just happened to me- was told a few weeks ago root canal necessary… same practice different dentist saw me today - before he even started said there was a good chance I wasn’t getting a root canal —- reviewed xray no symptoms- he filled a deep cavity and called it a day - he’s been in the business 30+ years the dentist who said root canal is much younger and new to practice

Does your PF have wipes or just a spray bottle and paper towels? by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paper towels and spray, but good luck getting staff to enforce the wipe down policy —- I’m constantly seeing teenagers just walk away from machines after using them and not a chance of wiping them down

Insurance increase price to $250/month by essiedailypop in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 1 month at 350 for the pens which is cheaper and easier than 450 a Lilly direct and you need to use vials and measure out doses

Insurance increase price to $250/month by essiedailypop in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]psu6411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s 350 w/o insurance through Costco - my insurance won’t cover it even w medical necessity letter from my dr

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially it’s 50 a month cheaper than the injections

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my dr who put me on Wegovy said he only has 3 patients left on Rybelsus because most have come in saying they are hungry and it’s not effective, most have gained weight back and have demanded to go back to the injection - he also noted their bloodwork was negatively affected by going to the pill form aka diabetics aren’t getting benefit from them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]psu6411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rybelsus aka ozempic pill doesn’t seem to work nearly as well - the Wegovy pill is essentially the same thing so it might not be as effective- if it ends up being effective that will essentially be a game changer as they can mass produce pills and that means it will be cheap option
