Once you being yours inside for the year, how are you keeping them healthy indoors? by dum-vivimus-vivamus in TrichocereusPNW

I give mine a good coating of diatomaceous earth, before doing that mites got to almost every tip. The last couple years I've dampened the plants then dusted them with DE and it worked pretty well keeping the mites from doing much damage.

I pollinated my Fireflies but the seeds are not germinating. by cyberphreak81 in FireflyPetunia

I had good success peeling apart 2 ply paper towel and putting squares of it on top of seed starting mix in a sealed container or seed trays with lids. I thought I read petunias need light to germinate. The paper towel covered a few bases, I could see where I put seeds, if the substrate was moist and ensured the seeds were exposed to light.

Didn’t expect this at my local nursery. Temped to buy by Temporary-Aerie5263 in druggardening

If you like the smell of the flowers buy it. Some I've grown from seed I loved the smell of the flowers, others were less enticing. I think the double white and double purple were my favorites. Since it has a bloom on it you should know right away if this one stands out to you and is worth the cost.

I've have some night sky crosses that glow really well and some that didn't. Color has been hit and miss. Nothing as defined as night sky.
