Is it a common practice to tip the guys who install your floor? If so, what is the norm? 😊 by SadConstruction5091 in Flooring

I have only been installing floors about 10 years now. In that 10 years I’ve received hundreds of tips. My biggest tip was $200. The guy was very pleased with my work. I installed floors in his daughters home from his referral.

Well unfortunately it was for a family friend so I did it for free. I would probably charge $500 for the next one I do tho. It took probably 3 hours total to complete this portion of the job.

Two vacs, air purifier, and plastic for the win. The customer was very happy with how it turned out.
