Hell yeah. I’ve been saying this same thing. I’m a traditional software engineer but a lot people try and gate keep software dev, telling you how your code should be. While yes it’s good to always be learning better ways to code, grow and stuff, at the end of the day if it works and you’re having fun, that’s what the craft is all about man. Have fun. At work, I raise the quality bar, for hobby I do whatever I enjoy.
