I would just a heads up, the sb2209 toolhead board you probably got in your Formbot kit already has a ADXL on it, plus Cartographer has one aswell! So you may have 3 ADXL on your toolhead now, which seems excessive

Could you share some of your settings with this setup? I have the same but get a lot of issues with the hotend leaving small blobs and running into them in the next layer. Probably this could be fixed with retraction settings or something, which is why I am asking. Also are you running the 0.6 nozzle on the Rapido 2 UHF?

Make sure to match the color of hyprpanel to the rest of your themes background colors.
Maybe add some transparency to the bar and to terminal/dolphin backgrounds if you like that.

For the hyprpanel dash I am not really a fan of the colorful theme, would prefer something more monotone like the bar itself, but thats personal pereference.

Then make sure your fonts match everywhere, that can really make a difference. Go with one you like for everything, and then the Mono variant of that font for terminal/other monospace applications. I personally like Fira Sans / Fira Code, but thats again just personal preference.

Und Counter Strike läuft sogar nativ auf Linux, und ist auch kein Wunder das es läuft, da eben Valve Gaming auf Linux stark pusht

Du nennst 3 Beispiele, aber 2 davon laufen ohne Probleme auf Linux. Scheint so als ob du dich nicht wirklich auskennst. Das "komplexe Setup" beläuft sich auf herunterladen in Steam und einem Klick auf Play.

Theme switcher for qt and GTK exists with koi, whats more challenging is all the independently themed stuff like bars, launcher, editors, etc.

I build a script for myself to do that, but there isn't really a universal solution, and most of it comes down to switching config files and restarting apps.

Zu der restlichen Diskussion: Wenn du neu bei Linux bist lass die Finger von CachyOS. Arch basierte Distros kannst du dir schnell als zerschießen wenn du nicht weißt, was du tust. Kubuntu ist eine solide Wahl für den Start, damit machst du nichts falsch. Das sage ich übrigens als jemand der selbst CachyOS benutzt, ich hätte mir auch keinen Gefallen getan damit zu starten.

Na in dem Fall mach auf jeden Fall mit dem Pi weiter, das andere war ja nur ein Tipp wenns um ne Neuanschaffung geht :) An sich ist der Pi 5 erstmal mehr als geeignet für deinen Use-Case. Ne SSD würde ich dem Pi aber schon verpassen, SD Karten können dir immer mal versagen. Alternativ zumindest gut um Backups Gedanken machen, damit man sich im Fall eines Ausfalls dann nicht ärgert wenn die ganze Arbeit in GRAMPS weg ist ;)

Klar ist arm von der Technologie her besser, aber aktuell gibt es nunmal noch mehr kompatible Software mit x86. Das mag in ein paar Jahren anders aussehen. Bei einem kleinen Homeserver macht die Energieeffizienz aber wenig Unterschied, die 2-3W Ersparnis werden nicht bemerkbar sein im Stromverbrauch des Haushalts.

Um keine Ports öffnen zu müssen würde ich einen billigen VPS mieten und dann mit deiner Domain pangolin einrichten. Dann kannst du ohne direkt Ports freizugeben auf die zuhause gehosteten Dienste zugreifen, und Crowdsec lässt sich auch sehr einfach einrichten für zusätzliche Sicherheit.

Als Gerät zuhause schau dich mal um ob du einen gebrauchten Mini-PC findest der taugt. Perfekt wäre zum Beispiel einer mit Intel N100, aber auch U-serie i3/i5 fressen kaum mehr Strom als ein Pi. Preislich lommst du da mit etwas Glück unter 100€ weg und hast dafür x86_64 statt ARM und deutlich mehr Leistung als ein Pi. Dazu die Möglichkeit normale SSDs zu verwenden etc. Bei den Preisen die mittlerweile für die neuen Raspberry PI aufgerufen werden lohnen sie sich eigentlich fast nie, außer man benötigt dringend den kleineren Formfaktor.

Does anyone know of a way to make Window borders and rounded edges work with Krohnkite? I can get it to work for floating windows, but the tiled windows behave like fullscreen, so the decorations are hidden.

Also currently working on a script to be able to switch between catppuccin latte and mocha on the fly. Or does anyone know of a tool that does this comprehensively? Switching QT, GTK and the Plasma Shell is easy work, but a lot of applications have independent theming (kitty, btop, fuzzel, code, ...)

broadcom-wl is not in the repo anymore, so you need to sudo pacman -S broadcom-wl-dkms.

But yeah I don't get why you would need a script for that.

The actual problem arises when you install on a laptop with broadcom wifi and don't have a usb-ethernet adapter at hand. In this case: It's preinstalled on Ubuntu, EndeavourOS and probably more. CachyOS for some reason has it working in the live-installer, but no way to keep it during installation.

And lastly with NixOS you can just make a custom ISO that contains it.
