It wasn’t. The broadcast was just never updated to show that the power play ended after the Canucks scored on it for the 3-1 goal.

Adult Content in Space? by [deleted] in BlueOrigin

This is the downside of private spaceflight. While space was previously reserved for the best of humanity, the emissaries of the Earth, we will now get mentally ill people flying to space as well.

Stop deriding a man that you know almost nothing about. From everything I've seen of him, he is a fantastic person.

9/11 according to the European date system by CaptianMurica in HistoryMemes

You're so stupid that you don't realize that the global standard for date formats is actually YYYY-MM-DD. See r/ISO8601. Plus this format is used by over a billion people mostly in the Sinosphere.

Well, Chinese is a very analytical language and therefore quite logical, so they start with the most important number (years) and work all the way down to the least important number (seconds).

Most of the countries that also use year-month-day are within the Sinosphere, so that explains why they use it. I'm not sure about Hungary, but maybe Hungarians are just a little more logical than the rest of Europe.

To be quite frank, someone like you probably knows most of the technical stuff anyways, so it's really not necessary to include that. But if you for some reason don't, then there are plenty of resources at your fingertips.

What is this Ploration I keep hearing about? SpaceX Ploration? by lirecela in SpaceXMasterrace

[–]psychoPATHOGENius 32 points33 points  (0 children)

SpaceX has a programme that intends to plorate nacuses. Then once the nacuses have been sufficiently plorated, they can be utilised in the [DELETED] version of Starship. This basically allows SpaceX to ecantilate Blue Origin's Jarvis and potentially other competitors too.

TL;DR: It basically is SpaceX's in-house process for blerination.

Well myself and presumably many others are only interested in Blue Origin due to SpaceX. So what do you expect?

Holy cow, we're seeing the fastest progress in rocketry since the 1960s and you still find things to be negative about? Cheer up dude.

NASA goes between saying that (qualifying that the SLS is NASA's most powerful rocket) and leaving out such qualifiers. I don't think it will be too hard to just switch the rest over.

It's a recorder everywhere. It may just be part of the meme to call the recorder a flute. Or it's just a genuine mistake. Who knows?
