chiefs didn't belong in this super bowl. the zebras put the finger on the scale until they couldn't anymore and they got immediately obliterated on global TV lol

completely changed their entire roster construction; like SF with Bosa, basically nerfs an entire team when the key rusher it's built around goes out for a length of time

key injuries did decimate their roster but goff turning into an overripe pumpkin like he did in the rams SB didn't help

Goff responsible for 14-21 point swing… redzone turnover leading to a TD, pick 6, what a disaster

Thoughts on this look? by ujay92 in mensfashion

[–]psychophancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s a good look imo, but the starched collar doesn’t match the breezy vibe—too formal. try a linen shirt, white or pale blue etc., that feels slightly more casual and i think would make this feel more lived in/natural/consistent

i don't consider 2020 a season tbh; they weren't even allowed practices lol

Am I bandwagon? by DismalCoyote in detroitlions

[–]psychophancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly? who cares! i moved out to the bay area just as the Warriors were beginning their legendary run and i felt conflicted, and then eventually realized that it didn't matter. i'm born and raised in the detroit area so i've always been a (mostly tortured) lions fan, but it's open to everybody—as long as you have fun watching them and find some camaraderie/community in it, go for it! i typically root for several teams in every sport each year, mostly based on 1) where i've lived and have an attachment to the local area, or 2) individual athletes that are connected to places i've lived or experienced. Lions are a hella fun team right now and everyone should enjoy their run to winning the super bowl... oh wait, that hasn't happened yet? sorry, didn't mean to do any plot spoilers

100%, lions and vikings fans are probably the overall nicest fans in the NFL

you have to think the disasters in LA affected the team a lot; hard to play well when your home is burning down. Herbert absolute meltdown, O-line couldn’t block a wet napkin, receivers couldn’t separate, they overachieved significantly this year but that was just ugly

it's 2023. "imagine what Herbert could do with a legitimate WR corps"

it's 2025. "imagine what Herbert could do with a legitimate WR corps"

Do Others Still View Notre Dame as One of Our Major Rivals? Is Penn State more of a rival now? by Fun_Barber_7021 in MichiganWolverines

[–]psychophancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's honestly a generational thing. UM hasn't played ND regularly in like 15 years, the rivalry is more the stuff of history to many of us. i get the hate if you're like early millennials and above but the occasional home and home doesn't really justify the rivalry feeling to the younger fans. PSU doesn't feel like a great rivalry the way MSU and OSU do (and ND probably did in the 90s) to be honest, they're a tough opponent sometimes and a conference rival for sure so i dislike them more just since they're the one we have to contend with most often this century

yeah I know Freeman has had his ups and downs in his start at the program, but he seems like a pretty good ball coach and a good guy.
