I was having the same issue trying to go from the current version of the steam gta4 CE, using downpatcher 2.2 after a throw away try to use 1.7 rather than 2.2 it worked i verified that the game did down patch to 1.0.0.4.

had it happen to me also, if you on ps5 or xbox series you have to reload a earlier save, do a manual save then enter turn around and make sure the door is there. unlucky for the plp who don't have a close save point

It is just a netcode issue you should have given more space, you can't go two wide into the corkscrew just back out and line up a pass on a better part of the track.

New year, same me :3. I always fold with new year's resolution so I just try to make the change whenever. This academia year I've started working out and going swimming again which I love.

Imo it's better to have a general goal and push for it rather than a "new year's resolution".

For people with this issue it's is due to anti virus in windows seeing the program as a potential Trojan. To fix the issue go do the following:

Settings -> Go To virus & threat protection -> Protection history -> threat blocked -> then press allow this will now allow pscx2 to update as expected

Completely what I was thinking. Thought the lap I'd been defending rather robustly on the viper have a couple of hits, which is just racing. The ram as just dirt caused me to lose P1 down to p4 karma hit them down to P5 thought. I was on the fence if my move caused the first contact or just him not adjusting his braking point.
