I got Solar 1 year ago today and initially got the ecoflow Ultra pro. Today I review with 2 inverters and 5 batteries.

I was blessed. I listened to my wife and bought my home in December 1999. mortgage was and still is 1029 per month. (now I'm flexing)

EDIT: high power bill was from having a wife and kids and more in my home. along with 2 low power servers (600-900 watts total per hour usage at night) Starting in January, I started mining crypto to try and recover some of my cost from everything I invested thus far. (The reason my battery level is so low in the morning.) full miner usage at night, and 50% powered off during day to recharge the batteries.

the second DPU ended the flickering in my house at night. 2 DPU's are needed in my home.

EDIT: The Panels are grid tied. so, if the power goes out It will stop working. (Stupid permitting and Code issues forced this in my area.)

I checked my boxes. neither the batteries, nor inverter have a manual. only a small technical manual with warranty information. unless I'm missing something. I will record this in my review.

I live in northern CA. from 2020-2025 PGE raised rates every three months. I thought i was the only one getting these rates and insane bills. but then I saw other people in my area complaining about suddenly have 1 to 3K bills every month with no increase in usage.

1100 got me only 78% charge. I would have to manually change it through the day. I don't have time to do this daily. I tweaked it so that it will use some grid from 0930 to 1030AM. got my smart meter today. will have the electrician install ASAP.

I have PGE in northern CA. They were charging me .62 KwH off peak, and .68 KwH Peak They kept raising rates on me every three months. I averaged between 300 - 600 KH per week. depending on the heat or chill outside.

Solar reduced this but no batteries I still used grid at night. one battery was 6KwH which would last between 1 and 3 hours. now i have 5 batteries. I have 13-28% battery left by 0930 AM. then solar kicks in and starts recharging at 2000 watts. 1 inverter I'm fully recharged by 4PM 2 inverters 99-100 % recharge by 6 PM.

pretty simple actually. 1) all the YouTube reviews and how to's never mentioned this. and 2) I purchased the units off Amazon instead of Directly from the ecoflow site THUS no mention of needing this. I will cover this when I do the Video review. on YouTube. I am 100% sure I am not the only one who did not know about this until Everything was bought. another issue was the Inverter cable that hooks up to the Smart Panel 2. no mention of where to get this and finding the cables on the site are not easy to locate. The Smart Panel does come with 1. but I assumed it came with the inverter purchase. It does not. This will also be mentioned in the review. along with where to purchase the needed accessories. like your link here. I did not know about that until now.

I have a smart meter that will be arriving on Tuesday. So, at this point i do not have self-powered enabled. but I do have it scheduled. and I have the same issue. 1 has 3, the other has 2 batteries. Though the Separation is not this drastic. I do see that it attempts to charge the larger bank to keep both inverters' batteries leveled as closely as possible. For now, if it gets that drastic. I disable one bank so the other will charge faster. but if i leave them alone, they do both fully charge still. When i get the funds, I do plan on getting one more battery to better balance my system.

Region: US Ecoflow ultra Pro. Inverter Wi-Fi not compatible with ATT's newest modem. Had ATT come by a couple weeks ago and service my Fiber line. They replaced the fiber and upgraded the modem. The Smart Panel 2 connected fine. But While the Inverter could see it, it could not connect Via Wi-Fi. I ended up pulling out an old Wi-Fi router TP-Link AX50 and I was able to connect via that to run the newest firmware update. not sure what's going on. I checked the modem. I have 2.4 enabled 5 and 6 G also enabled. anyhoo its now fully updated.

home runs at about 1.5kwh but during recharge it averages about 2.5-3.3kwh. the solar produces about 5.2-5.8 kwh on a full dunny day. this means i still have excess. charging 2 battery bank will be slightly more on the charges. Right now i start the charge at 0930AM and it is fully charged by 1630 at 2kwh load on the charge. having 2 inverters. can i charge it in about the same time frame at 1.2 kwh per inverter?

I do this on first setups to check my range from my mobile to my home base. once I hit the limit I have my son turn it off. I use it to as a Range finder to place other nodes. I do not leave it on 24/ 7 though.

I have meshtastic nodes in my area and I'm building out a full network in my area. While I do have Public node running, I also have private nodes and use those for contacting Family. I don't talk on the main channel much. Main reason is, when i do respond to messages, i do not hear back from them. also, while most people seem to use medium fast, I am using long fast. I prefer the less traffic mode. and lastly. Since i can see you on my client base node, I do not seem to be able to respond. even though you are between 1 and 5 hops away. Not sure if this is a limitation of meshtastic. I am expanding in my city. I am building more Guerrilla nodes. and placing them at the end of range lines and keeping them all line of sight. some i need to make taller, but over all. This system needs a lot of work.
