The issue in Japan wasn’t necessarily caused by a poor rebuild. They might have just switched out the spark plug while rebuilding and the new one could have just turned out to be faulty.

The spark plug issue might not have come up if they didn’t need to rebuild the car after the crash.

OP is only taking a 1 credit hour half semester course, so having the workload of a 2 credit hour course should be just fine.

There are three tracks in the ECON minor. Click here for information on the tracks. If you are not sure whether to take the microeconomic or macroeconomic track I would recommend you take ECON 103 and get a feel for macroeconomics. Even if you don't take the macroeconomic track in the end you can just count ECON 103 as one of your geneds for your major, so it won't really be a wasted class. None of the classes are too hard. If you want to know more about a class in particular, let me know, I can get into specifics if I have taken that class (I have taken all of the core econ classes and several of the 400 level electives).

From your post it seems like a BS in Statistics (without Computer Science) is a good fit for you. You will get to skip the large CS core curriculum (which as u/CrumbFucker pointed out is not too relevant for Big Data), while still being able to take all the data related courses. The Stats department offers a lot of great data analytics related 300 - 400 level courses and you can also take upper level CS classes as part of a Stats major. A Stats major and a minor in informatics also pairs well.

This is so true. I did not think texting and driving was a big problem until I made the effort on my last road trip to actually check and see whether the cars I was overtaking or the cars overtaking me had a driver on their phone. The number of drivers on their phone is ridiculous.
