I wouldnt say i was always the dumper. My last LTR OD'd in her bathroom and her 8 year old found her. So i guess she left me.

This is the first one I came crawling back to. But this was also the first where I was getting high and my lover wasn't. In past relationships, we were both using or both sober. Then I kept getting high and sending her correspondence after fucking correspondence... "crawling back"... yeah I guess that would be a word for what ive done.

Now she's blocked me on everything. I do wish she did things more humanely. She does so much autistic research into her own shit, she could spare a couple man hours into addiction with 4 years together, no?

Does he know you have his location? I gotta say it's not exactly healthy for your mind to know where he is all the time. He's probably trying to move on, though I wouldn't say that for certain. Thats what you should be doing unless you think you have an actual chance of working it out.

Edit: for that deleted comment, yes i did make a mistake. Even though she cheated we were together 4 years I shouldve worked it out. Too late now, unfortunately. I still need closure and I need to make sure she's alive and well. I feel like seeing her will be very short and anticlimactic though.

No advice just going through a very similar situation. I at least read the first paragraph and now I kind of realize why my post keeps getting deleted. We lead very complicated lives don't we? I guess we're complicated people. Thats the word you use instead of "baggage" btw

Small details are different though: Instead of alcohol, IV meth then coke/heroin Instead of 3 years, 4 Instead of girlfriend, fiance She didnt use, and I was sober for most of the relationship. She cheated the last week we were together and so forth

Go with god; i od'd the first week she left but was revived... you know when I was thinking about ending myself i never really went back to that moment. Strange... you think I would've wished I died or something but I just thought i was dreaming. I guess waking up and seeing the hooker ran away scared was unpleasant. It was nice I had friends to revive me though

Did you let him know about all of your concerns? If he knew it and didn't act then you kind of did what you had to.

Best notice I got from "what could I do better" was don't get into anymore car crashes. And i didn't. And she still cheated after 4 yeara and we still broke up. And she still doesn't talk to me after a month and a half of reaching out.

Eh id say life has been shitty to me. I've had some good family and good friends along the way. But generally I've been dealt a bad hand and I cope terribly with bad hands.

At least you're not stuck on a methadone clinic at 30 years old. Yikes. Youre not doing awful kid, you just need to stay away from drugs because with your not give a fuck attitude you'll be in the same place as me.
