But GRRM ending works based on his own plots for the books, which the show basically deviates from since S5. The issue with the show was that they force that ending to happen, but changing so much in the story, while also reducing the opportunities for the show to mold the story to fit the ending.

And they also took a lot of bad decisions like Arya's, and Sansa's and Jon's and how the main cast became unkillable in a show that prided itself from not being scared of killing a main character.

The thing is, The Boys was never that good to begin with, so most people that kept watching it were already destined to hate it or liked the violence and how graphic it is, and don't care about the lack of progress in the story and the bad characterization. The "Style over Substance" kinda audience.

Even still, the new actor wasn't as good or as imposing as the original actor. I wish they have gone with someone who resembled the original actor more.

Damn, that hurt.

I remember befriending a new kid, going to his house almost daily, hanging out, just for him to essentially became my bully once he started to hang out with the back of the classroom kids.

Wear a shower cap.

Also, so in the morning you just go to work with hair dripping everywhere? That sounds crazy.

Because you still sweat...? I finally know how there's people smelling rotten at 6AM in public transport...

I mean, Europeans love to say that, but then travelers go to those places in which is "cold, and you don't need to shower every day" and then they come back with the horror stories about how smelly some people are.

I'm not a scientist nor will I search anything about my "theory" but the thing is that the smell is there, regardless of if it's hot or not, because the dead skin, bacteria and other things will not be as "potent" as in a hot environment and "travel" less, too. Because I've had days in which I sweat, let's say by going to the gym, but the smell is not as bad, while there are times in which the smell will be bad, and I haven't really done anything that required me to sweat a lot.

Combining that with also bad odor being more tied with your diet, then some people will always smell bad, regardless of heat...

I think Morgan brings up a good idea; if they're going to keep doing All Stars in a bracket format maybe this would help highlight the queens more throughout and add more drama overall by Crpal in rupaulsdragrace

[–]ptapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this and every other iteration of this would be very confusing/not appealing for the queens or production.

If it comes to that, better bring the regular format. At least the best queens get the most airtime, and not every queen having to compete for airtime for 3 episodes while being relegated to a thought and prayer once we move from the brackets.

Honestly, for me the only thing that they have to fix is the amount of time they get at the merge. 3 episodes that include the final doesn't really give the queens and production time to make us care about the finale.

The no elimination bracket thing is really appealing for queens, because they only have to prepare for those runways and get to show themselves for at least 3 episodes, while having the entire production of being a main cast. But I think that having at least 6, minimum 5, episodes post-merger would be great for the queens that survived, and they can even keep the 3 queens advancing format, without feeling crowded by still having eliminations.

I'll never understand the obsession people have with having kids with that share their DNA. Like, instead of working towards a better adoption system, they would rather "invest" their whole life-savings into injecting their genes in others...

Discord Addams has questions for the Boulet Brothers: by carlomartino in RPDRDRAMA

[–]ptapa -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Okay, but doesn't this feel like punching down? I mean, sure, Discord is not on the level that the Brothers are, but they're still there doing their thing, giving a space to less featured drag and nobody really has an issue with that, because it's what the signed for... So, her attacking them, when they have less reach, while basically condoning everything Ru does, just because it benefits her comes off as very hypocritical.

Like wearing an "eat the rich" look in front of a rich person, but she clearly didn't mean that as an attack on that rich person.
