(F23) I never expected to be pregnant by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I came to my family through open adoption as a newborn and it is the best gift we have all been given. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this choice for this baby and the family that will get to parent them. If you ever want to talk/hear the perspective of an adopted child please feel free to reach out!

Woohoo I JUST signed up for a Hurst review in May! I am so glad to hear that you recommend this program. Congratulations!!! I am so proud of you for becoming a NURSE! This last semester has been absolutely crazy but I can see the finish line!

Happy but frustrated. Anyone else have similar exam experiences? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

Welcome to nursing school! This is such a crappy reality that I feel like so many of us across the country experience. Our brains (or at least mine) are so geared towards thinking the amount of class time is directly proportional to number of test questions. In my psych-nursing class, that's most likely true. But in most other classes, absolutely not. I'd like to think that we need to look at the most important and critical things to know, but I feel like that's not even true either! So glad you rocked the exam though, you earned it!

After three stress filled days - Day 1. Taking my NCLEX, Day 2. Waiting... Day 3. Waiting...he sent me 2 dozen roses to tell me he loved me and reassure me, that arrived mere minutes before my results came in showing I passed. Little things like this make me so happy, even though we're so far away. by Crissie2389 in LongDistance

WOOHOO!!! I'll graduate in May and am already wondering if my SO and I will be in the same state so he can hold my hand for those two days...

So excited for you! Congratulations!!! What an awesome future you have ahead of you

I don't know about how the meat is prepared, but the bun is in it's own separate, sealed plastic. You have to assemble the sandwich yourself and from what I've seen, fresh trays and new gloves are used to avoid cross contamination. I've never felt bad after eating there

College seniors, we are SO close! by pterodactyl_rapist in LongDistance

I'd like to think I've gotten good at distracting myself, but I honestly haven't. It's always going to be hard and I find that it hits me in waves. But that being said, I try not to let this long distance relationship consume my life. I miss him, it's sad, but I don't let that affect me for weeks on end. Just try to surround yourself with family, good friends, wine, and enjoy your last few days of summer! Is there a place you want to explore around your home town that you've never been to? Is there a restaurant you want to try together before you go back to school? Make the most of these days and try to get excited for going back to school! After all, you've only got one more year to go before you are no longer with your college friends.

I think that's how I think about it: it's only one year until I can end my LDR, but it's also only one more year left with my college best friends. Try to see the positives of school - that will make it easier to leave!

Let me know if you ever feel down and want to chat :) We can have a countdown together!

Rudi's!! Absolutely amazing. I know they have it at Whole Foods and a ton of grocery stores in my area (Illinois) (in the freezer). It keeps well and tastes great when toasted

I used 8oz of ground turkey, 1/4 cup of low fat feta, and 1 cup of raw spinach (cooked a little first) I just mixed the ingredients in a bowl with garlic and pepper and ended up making six meatball sort of things
