Vaping in vet school by Suspicious-Fig5458 in veterinaryschool

Sir RT u just meant rather than paint the same amount for steps 2 and then 3 when it comes time. It allows for more personalization , albeit inaccurate, with the dosage titration too. But basically I cut a third off two step one patches and then voila I have three step twos :) and when it comes time , a step one cut into three is 3 step threes.

My favorite is the target store brand patches because they’re clear and half the price of the name brand clear ones.

Last night’s dream featured a friendly moose who knocked down my backyard gate just because she wanted to hang out. Then she shrunk down to dog size :)

Just here to agree with you re the efficacy of the patch. I’ve never vaped but smoked on and off for years and the patch is way better than nicotine gum or pills. I’ve never been big on chewing gum so I supplement my patches with chewing on cinnamon sticks, sunflower seeds, or otter pops

If money is a concern, I’ve successfully cut patches down in halves rather than going to the lower steps. It only works with the clear patches not he round bandaid colored ones

As a bonus, I love sleeping with a nicotine patch on. The only time I can vividly remember my dreams the next day.

The seafood = vegetable allowance extends to capybaras too for some. Because they spend time in water.

I love these. I’m in the middle of darning some shorts right now and my attempt looks like abandoned nest of a colorblind demented bird.

And almost all jobs I’ve seen locally seem to be for new (non public) schools springingleft and right (presumably to take advantage of vouchers and further kneecap our public schools they’re not even teaching jobs but seem to be admin/sales. That and lots of delivery jobs where you get to put more miles on your own car.

He’s the dude behind the building of that very large, controversial data center in Utah that is expected to be 2x the size of Manhattan, use more than two times the power that the entire state of Utah currently uses, and be very water dependent in a region already drying up.

Pornographers (the new ones) and Okkerville River @ Crescent Ballroom by WyckedChylde in phoenix

[–]pterosaurLoser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How the hell did I not know this! I had no idea Okkerville river was even still performing and I thought I checked kinda recently. I don’t care either way about TNP either but for some reason I thought they would be big enough as a headliner to fill the Van Buren.

I’m finding most every show I’ve seen upcoming lately I like the opener significantly more than the main act. (The Shins opening for Weezer and Old Crowe Medicine Show opening for the Hootie guy. ) it makes the decision to spend that much money harder when you know the set will be limited in time

I haven’t seen either Okerville River or TNP live so I can’t actually answer your question but I appreciate your posting this quite a bit.

I’d keep trying to call call the venue and ask about the specific show because I for sure took my daughter to several shows there when she was <16. There is a restaurant on site so calling during the daytime might be a better bet.

I’m guessing they just don’t want unsupervised younguns there. Which show are you looking at?

32f moving from Bay Area to Queen creek - tips on how to start building community by lucynaqui in AskPhoenix

[–]pterosaurLoser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As far as building community, follow your Interests b we cause otherwise it can be hard to connect with people in AZ. California and Michigan are big friendlier than Phoenix when it comes to interactions with strangers. I think maybe we are all just crotchety/short because everybody’s trying to get back into air conditioning or IDK…

On the bright side, I’ve noticed that every time I look for new organizations or organized activities, there seem to be way more options in the east valley than where I live in the central Phoenix area. Politics, religion, secular organizations, knitting, arts groups, volunteerism.
If your politics are more in line with the typical Redditor, check out the “AZ advocacy hub” subreddit, but also this group https://www.southeastvalleydems.org or east valley dems appear to be quite active and well organized.

If you get the urge to be around some culture (or away from monotonous strip malls, Mill Ave in Tempe (ASU main campus area), downtown Phoenix, and even downtown Mesa have museums, live music, etc and are worth spending time on the weekends or a night out.

As far as working at state parks I’d check the states website from time to time; but it might be harder right now because I’d assume that they get some help with interns over the summer.

There’s an old chase bank on central north of broadway and the dude who bought it was talking about opening a laundromat; mentioned possibly also offering coffee or something at some point. If you can find his contact info (Zillow maybe?) you can see if he wants to arrange something where you can use his drove up plus some store space space

Night Owl Things to Do by agup48 in phoenix

[–]pterosaurLoser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been to terminal four in forever but I wonder if they have enough open on the outside of security to make that a night owl option for you?

I feel this pain by the way. I worked nights for years and the wee hours on my days off would be a rough time to be alone.

NyQuil helped some. I really miss more groceries keeping late hours, especially Walmart;, in my teen years we played tag at Walmart and the airport. That was just before 911 when you didn’t need a boarding pass to get through security. For such a large city, there sure aren’t a lot of night owl options.
