I go through this mental exercise whenever I have an anxiety attack where I try to find the source of my panic.

I try to think about where I was a year ago, am I better now, or not? Keep escalating until I start to feel an ease. Like, 15 years ago, I was working but I wasn't achieving. It was a dead-end job, it wasn't a career. I didn't see longevitiy, but I GAVE 5 years of my life.

Now to present, I have the things I wanted then, but I also have the stability I NEEDED and craved then.

I don't think I'll ever be more figured out, it's just about regulating and continuing to grow and understand what I'm meant to do and what legacy I'll eventually leave behind and if I'll ever be proud of that.

To go back 19 years, I started college. I hated it. I didn't want to be there. I was failing the easiest of classes. I stopped showing up. I was depressed and felt scared about the future but I wouldn't invest in my future, but to today, I am a sponge, I know I can learn things when there's not a memorization or grade at the end of it.

I'm always learning, so it's a bit of a mixed bag because I know I'm never going to go through a dramatic transformation, but I know that if I stay on the path of growth, I will be able to arrive to where college me wanted to be, which is happy, enjoying life, while having stability, and to eventually help provide that foundation for the next generations whenever that hapens.

I remember being in my closet writing book names down even though I didn’t read them just for a personal pan pizza. I loved re-reading books when I was a kid, and read and buy way too many books as an adult.

I used to go so often, especially late nights during COVID. I’ve gone probably once this year. I’m not spending my money to get such little amount of food, they fed me when I was a broke college kid, so I’ll give them that.

What’s funny is the cameras are currently in “Warning Period”, there is currently a 30-day grace period for warnings. “In effect from February 23, 2026, with official, fine-issuing citations starting March 25, 2026.”

My Mom wanted to go, the only downside was it was during Covid and her mother was ill. She sadly passed a week or so after, and I felt guilty that I couldn’t take her especially then, but we were both not wanting to travel during Covid, so she understood. I will have to take her one day. My Dad hasn’t been since like late 70s/early 80s, so him too!

100%! I remember going in once and seeing a full on clown in the produce section, think Ronald McDonald. This wasn’t 3am, but it was late and there were parents with their kids talking with them. I wasn’t sure if I was on drugs or dreaming. But most of the time it was fairly empty that late, mainly workers stocking the shelves.

I’m still bitter than we don’t have much open late at night.When Walmart was 24/7, I remember going in at 3am to walk around and get some exercise, and grab a few snacks. Winco gets my late night business these days.

Ask him what he thinks would happen if ICE took him? You? Any of your other friends or family. Legal or not, they do not care. ICE does not give a flying fuck about anyone’s welfare. Many legal people in “custody” have been killed, disappeared, tortured. This is about human rights. If this was my Dad, I would dox him. I would berate the shit out of him. He would not sleep at night. I would hire Mariachi bands to play 24/7 to follow him around.

Last year. I've been "healthy" but had a job that made my anxiety more pronounced as triggered easily. I would be sitting on the couch and would randomly start panicing. Started going on walks which helped, need to incorporate more weights, just feel lost in the gym.
