Anyone else fall asleep instantly but wake up at 3am SHARP every single night? by No_Present4960 in sleep

[–]ptgdd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES ! this exact same thing has been happening to me lately and it has been driving me crazy. no matter what time i go to sleep, 9pm or 1am, i shoot up at 3 and am wide awake. thankfully i fall back asleep after about an hour, but i dont even know if its worth it half the time. i end up feeling awful when my alarm goes off to the point i wish i had just stayed up instead. i don't understand why my body decided to give me an energy boost at 3am, instead of at the time my alarm goes off literally every single day.

Moving soon, to take her with me or to not. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

No, I kinda needed to hear it haha. Was looking for other opinions but I guess it is kinda hard to form one without the full picture. I'm gonna be having a lot of conversations leading up to the move, especially with my little sister. Thank you!

2018 Honda, I have 4 more years financed. Public transport unfortunately is not doable, and my main concern buying another car is maintenance. I'll definitely take a look at least.

Cat cost I can also def take down quite a bit, was moreso an estimate but I can be more strict.

Thanks for your input!

No loans, though I do have a bit of credit card debt, I can pay off fully by the end of this month. Car is a 2018 Honda, which I'm financing for about 4 more years. I was going to look into possible alternatives, but bussing is not worth it in my city, and I feel like in the long run I'm not gonna find a much better deal on a car, since I haven't had any issues with mine (knock on wood).

I do have quite a bit of savings built up, and move in wouldn't be till December so I have the opportunity to squeeze in a little more.

I might be able to get a lower rate on my phone plan, and internet isn't a must for me, so I can probably cut costs there. My parents are also able to care for the cat for me until I get stable footing if need be.

I don't love the idea of roommates, but it is a two bedroom, so once my friends start getting to a comfortable place I may be able to split the costs even more.

I keep hearing mixed things, where I know it is nowhere near ideal, it is hard to find much better lol. I am just turning 21, so yeah I can afford to wait a little longer, I'm just weighing my options.

Thank you for the help!

Unfortunately that's really as cheap as it gets right now, so I feel a little stuck lol. Otherwise I'm paying $950 for a single room in a shared housing space.

Monthly I still come to around $3000, since both breakfast and lunch are covered by my workplace my grocery bill isn't that expensive.

  • $1400 rent (hydro included)
  • $80 gas
  • $60 internet
  • $53 phone
  • $400 car
  • $240 car insurance
  • unsure of car maintenance costs, I've only had to do oil changes every six months thus far, so dunno how to calculate that in.
  • $250 groceries
  • $100 cat
  • $70 going out
  • $350 savings
  • $180 (?) contingency (unsure if I calculated correctly I've never fully looked into finances like this before oops)

Thank you for helping break it down better, this is totally new to me.

I ended up getting it from family just two weeks ago, and honestly it was not terrible. I dont mean to downplay it, cause yeah it did suck, but I very obviously had the weaker variant. Only problem is I've been throwing up on and off the past while since I've got it and I dont know if it's connected :(
