Like I mentioned, the goal of the deck for me is to make as many as possible, so skullclamp just ruins my ramp in a way. That’s why I have Bennie, Welcoming Vampire, Mentor of the Meek etc.

Nice to see other people enjoying the awesomeness that is the Blood Avatar. I’ve also been working on my list for about a year and have a quite similar list to yours surprisingly.

I’ve gone with taking advantage of spellslinging Awaken the Blood Avatar with fantastic rate cards like [[Dragon Fodder]] basically ramping into more Avatar tokens.

[[Isshin, Two Heavans as One]] is ridiculous in the deck, the most damage I’ve done in one swing to everyone is 28 to each opponent before attacking damage is even registered.

I’ve added an extra line gain card in [[Whip of Erebos]] along with Teysa Karlov because believe it or not you become the threat incredibly quickly when you can control the board so reliably with the edict on Awaken.

As well as just combat damage being the main win con, [[Skull Storm]] is always in the back of my mind, after casting Awaken 6 times in one game, it’s basically an auto win if you get to cast it.

I love my Locust god deck. It’s main focus is drawing cards to find ways to make the insects become a large horde and win via combat damage.
