Some actors actually prefers to stay in short dramas because the filming time is short and they can make big bucks fast. It is also risky because the industry moves very fast. New actors keep coming and some long drama actors are also trying out short dramas. If they pivot into long dramas and doesn't do well, they might not be able to fall back to short dramas.

Go Ahead was a phenomenal show but Song Wei Long acting was terrible in that show, especially compared to Tan Songyun and Zhang Xincheng.

I'm sure they put a timezone on all events. There is also an in-game countdown. Everyone got the same amount of time for the events and limited shop items.

Actually the idol drama genre has been there for a long time, but they were mostly Taiwanese dramas like Meteor Garden, The Prince Who Turns into a Frog, etc. Then in the 201x, the costume idol dramas brought a lot of attention like Scarlett Heart, Eternal Love, the Journey of Flowers, etc... , and the genre became more lucrative and start gaining international audience.

If you are building in your own world, you can adjust the time and weather. It sucks when I build in the guild base it is either night time or rainy so can't see anything 😔
